A Study On The Development Of China 's Bulky Basic Chemical Raw Materials

With the growth of economy, China’s foreign trade has developed rapidly for 30 years since the reform and opening up, in which,Chinese petrochemical industry’s foreign trade accounts for a big proportion.After the crisis in 2008, Chinese chemical industry obtained rapid development under the influence of overseas low interest rate and global monetary easing. China needs to import plenty of bulk basic chemical raw material owing to the prominent contradiction between domestic supply and demand. China lacks the right to speak in the foreign trade, while it is the main country in need of bulk basic chemical raw material in the world. Because the important significance of bulk basic chemical raw material in the national economy is related to the political and economic stability of China and its sustainable development, it is of strategic importance to research China’s development strategy in the foreign trade of bulk basic chemical raw material, strive to enhance the overall competitiveness of domestic enterprises and build up the foreign trade market, with healthy prosperity and sustainable development, of bulk basic chemical raw material.Aimed at our current situation and characteristic of bulk basic chemical raw material foreign trade, the paper reveals the existing problems in it through analyzing the foreign trade development’s history and current situation of EQ a typical product among bulk basic chemical raw materials. The article identifies the key factors causing these problems by the comparison of large amounts of data and correlation analysis. It also discusses the feasible strategies to resolve such problems.The thesis indicates that the unity and cooperation should be strengthened within the industry, the much comprehensive and deeper international cooperation should be actively participated in while the domestic production capacity of EG got improved. It advocates the establishment of a strategic reserve mechanism within the industry in order to provide more strategic space for the domestic enterprises in the foreign trade. It also proposes to inject more service-oriented concepts into traditional trade patterns to create the integrated service platform. In the meantime, it call on more supports to private enterprises in the country’s policy orientation.
