Research On Competitiveness And Complementarity Of Electromechanical Products Between China And ASEAN Based On Global Production Network

In recent years,China-ASEAN is accelerating the pace of regional economic cooperation. In 2013, China proposed the "along the way" policy firstly, developed the Silk Road and 21 st century Maritime Silk Road economic belt Vigorously; China will deepen the economic cooperation with ASEAN, push the two areas of international trade to a more comprehensive and deepening stage.With the increase of trade between China and ASEAN, trade development of the two regions have an important influence on both Asia and the world and mechanical and electrical industry is the greatest impact between the two areas.Due to different factor endowments in two area of China-ASEAN,makes them highly complementary in some dough, But in recent years, with the improvement of China’s international status and economic power and the upgrading of the industrial structure optimization, continuously enhance the competitiveness of China-ASEAN electrical equipment.Research on China-ASEAN cooperation in electromechanical products of competitiveness and complementarity becomes very meaningful,especially for the development of China’s machinery and electronic products,restructuring and deepen trade cooperation between China and ASEAN,as well as promotion to the development of China-ASEAN free trade area had shown great significance.This text analyzes total content of series of current situation of the development of China-ASEAN electromechanical products for the first time, have a preliminary understanding on the development level of China-ASEAN electromechanical products,conducted a longitudinal analysis on the trade structure of China-ASEAN electromechanical products and more comprehensive studies of the detailed composition of the two areas of electromechanical products.Secondly, the use of international market share, "display" comparative advantage index, trade competition index, trade intensity index and intra-industry trade index analyzes China-ASEAN electromechanical products competitive and complementary.Finally put forward effective suggestions and measures so as to boost the development of China-ASEAN electromechanical products with an analysis of the factors affecting the development of China’s machinery and electronics industry.Research shows that Chinese ASEAN electromechanical products have great potential in terms of cooperation,but due to some adverse factors affecting exchanges and cooperation between the two regions, through mutual understanding, mutual cooperation and common solutions of two regions will get larger benefits.
