Since 1979 since the resumption of the insurance industry, the insurance industry in China has experienced many twists and turns, from scratch, from small to premium premium scale rapid expansion, the life insurance business as an important part of the insurance industry, has achieved rapid development, by the end of 2015, Chinese insurance industry has become the world’s third largest insurance market. For some time but in the rapid development of the life insurance market, China’s life insurance industry shows the extensive development mode, for the healthy development of the industry of the hidden trouble. The life insurance companies to expand their market share, expand the size of the premium for the target. The target under the guidance of life insurance products in China’s insurance market. Have to cater to the insured at the time of the short period of need, so that the market is flooded with all kinds of dividends, investment type insurance, with profits to attract customers at the same time, the insurance. Different capital factions insurance companies in order to achieve commercial motivations to mergers and acquisitions in the capital market, will increase the development of new type of life insurance products. Therefore, life insurance product structure appeared on major issues, new life insurance products, the proportion of high has become new problems of China’s life insurance industry, hindering China’s life insurance industry long-term, stable and sustainable development.This paper is divided into five chapters.The zero chapter is introduction. This chapter is the research background, research significance, literature review, research ideas, research features and innovations made in detail.In the first chapter, introduces the changes of China’s life insurance industry and product structure of life insurance, life insurance is introduced the definition of lifeinsurance and development situation in China. And then introduces the traditional life insurance, investment linked insurance, dividends insurance and universal life insurance definition and development and of China’s life insurance product structure defines the, to lay the foundation for the analysis.At last, the paper introduces the two theories about the structure of life insurance products, which are the theoretical relationship between the life insurance products, supply and demand theory and product structure of life insurance and life insurance industry.The second chapter, introduces the and problems of China’s life insurance market development and product structure of life insurance. Respectively from the industry recovery, rapid development period, growth period of innovation, adjustment bottleneck describes the changes in the development of China’s life insurance market and different periods of product structure. And analysis of the four different periods in the presence of product structure of the problem.The third chapter analyzed the influence factors of product structure. Then, from the perspective of product demand analysis influence life insurance product structure factors, namely:economic factors, social cultural factors, micro factors. The third step from the strategic objectives of the company, company size, profitability, ownership company, company business channels and insurance supervision impact on the product structure of supply factors were analyzed. Finally, through the empirical analysis method analyzed the influence of products structure of supply factors.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of life insurance product structure is out of balance, mainly is:the concept of insurance consumers immature, deviation of insurance company business philosophy, life insurance products, regulatory factors. Finally, this paper introduces the China Life Insurance structure optimization objectives and suggestions, respectively, from the point of view of the life insurance companies and government regulatory agencies are expounded.
