From the Sixteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the resource saving was rose to be the basic national policy of our country and had been promoted in the party and government meeting many times by Hu Jintao. Our country is accelerating the construction of ecological civilization and is in an important period of building a well-off society in an all-round way, during this period, researching Hu Jintao’s resource saving thoughts is of great significance. Hu Jintao’s resource saving thoughts were promoted under the background of the severe resource condition in our country, impacted by the traditional culture of our country, the relation between man and nature of Marx and Engels’s thoughts and the western ecological Marxism, generated and developed on the basis of summarizing the experiences of saving of the communist party of China.
