Power supply and distribution(PSD) system is the energy security of other subsystem of satellite, its performance level directly affects the stability and longevity of satellite. Therefore, the test system of PSD is an important composition of integrated test system of satellite, it is use to monitor and measure the state of critical parameters and fall of control about PSD. The simulator of PSD was use to examine test equipment in the each stage and experiment place of satellite or in the first time use of PSD equipment, idle for a long time, or replacement, to ensure the safe and realibility of the test for real satellite. However, the tranditional simulator of PSD still remains some problem in the design and implementation, which may cause the poor Generality and low realibility.According to the above requirements, a novel type of general simulator is designed and implemented in this paper which could simulates the interface and function of all PSD models. The main idea is that the corresponding transfer box of different models is exchanged in hardware part, a variety of hardware resources is reassembled through software to realize the generality of the simulator. In the basis of detailed analysis of the shortage of existing simulator and considering the requirements of subsequent satellite, the design requirements, function index and scheme design of general PSD simulator system are proposed respectively.With respect to hardware design, based on meeting the requirement of generality in hardware configuraton, by using the method of modularization and generalization, the core of hardware system is divided into three modules: module for PC/104 host system, module for conditioning circuit module and module for integrated power, the industrial control host system of PC/104 bus and data acquisition cards is test core of PSD simulator, closed-loop data interaction between the general simulator and the PSD test equipment is achieving to complete testing task through conditioning circuit module and cable conversion with corresponding transfer box. In the aspect of software, Microsoft Visual studio which have friendly visible interface and high executing speed is as the software development platform, the design of system software framework, the design of software interface, and the design of each function module are completed by using the method of modularization and extendability. In addition to achieving the basic functions such as displaying all collected signal and output signal in real time, controlling feedback output, storing all displaying data and so on, and the software interface can complete configurations about different models of PSD and the mapping relation between input and output with the aid of Excel tools, to realize gereralization and automation of PSD simulator. At the same time, closed-loop data interaction between the general simulator and the intergrated te st server is completing to achieving equivalent testing task on the ground through the network, to realize network of PSD simulator.Finally, Results show that the functions and performance index of PSD system meet the requirements through joint test with six types PSD test equipments, the precision of pulse width detection with AD and DI acquisition card can be achieve less than 5ms by using software method which based on multi-threading technology and Win32 API. The characteristic of strong generalization, networked and automation of the simulator system are verified, and the software have the advantage of high executing speed and operation convenience.
