With the continuous development of China’s agricultural mechanization process, role of high horsepower wheeled tractor is particularly important in agricultural machinery. But, the problem of contemporary environmental pollution and energy shortage is becoming increasingly serious, to some extent, limits the development of tractor technology. Domestic and foreign research institutions have applied hybrid technology to tractor, how to successfully develop high horsepower hybrid electric tractor (HET) is one of the tractor development direction in the agricultural mechanization process. Test is a necessary way for HET’s development, which can be used to research parameter matching optimization, dynamic coordination control, control strategy optimization and other key technologies act without tractor; to validate design ideas and theoretical methods, shorten development cycles, reduce development risk and cost.Based on the elaborating of HET test bed test technology, such as fuzzy adaptive PID, load test bench simulation, dynamic coordination control and measurement control technology, the function of test bed is analyzed, objectives and principles of the overall design is determined, the overall scheme and part parameters of HET test bed is designed, in this paper. Adopting the modular thought, modularization and integration of HET test bed is completed. Based on MATLAB/Simulink-Simscape, power transmission and loading system physical model is established; with the dSPACE and the LabVIEW, hardware and software of measurement control system is designed and developmented; and ultimately the integration simulation test platform is builded with powertrain, loading system, control system and visual interface.Based the simulation test platform, start and accelerate process of HET is preliminarily simulated and comparative analysised, which have validated the feasibility test bed design ideas and methods, provided a platform for the design and development of HET and HET test bed.
