Soil compaction is a natural phenomenon which causing a loss of the smallholes between the soil particles and preventing a free flow of air and water, as aresult the permeability reduced and capillary water weakened, thus, the growth of thecrop would have a greater impact. Soil compaction is a process that the air and watersqueezed out between the soil particles and the soil particles between each othercompacted. So that the soil particles recombined with each other tight squeeze, theporosity reduced, pore water discharged and the per unit weight of the soil increased,so as to be a tight unit. Therefore, soil compaction mechanism and its application hasbeen the focus of concern related to the academic field.The test simulated the tire rolling characteristics of crawler type dozer anddump truck, and rolled1,3,5,7,9times respectively to the construction waste, coalash and coal gangue filling plots. The rolling strength of crawler type dozer are33.7kpa、101.1kpa、168.5kpa、235.9kpa and303.3kpa respectively, and the dump truckrolling strength are993kpa、2979kpa、4965kpa、6951kpa and8937kparespectively. Thirty one sample plots was tested with the plot filled with soil and irrigated well as control. Take samples of the test area six months after the end the test,analyzed the composition of soil particle through the winner2000laser grain meter,studying the correlation coefficient between rolling strength and soil particlecomposition with SPSS, using traditional methods to measured the soil bulk densityand porosity, and using soil heat capacity measured the soil heat capacity. andmade the soil particle size analysis link to the soil physical characteristics to explorethe impacting factor of the soil particles to soil bulk density, porosity degree andimpact of soil heat capacity factor, to provide scientific reference for the landreclamation of coal mining subsidence area. The results of the study show that:(1) The general characteristic of the reclaimed plots is that, with the increaseddegree of compaction, the more obvious changes of the soil particles composition,soil particles composition changes which the dump truck reclaimed plots are moreobvious than the crawler bulldozer reclaimed plots. And under the same reclamationmechanical action, the soil particles composition changes of fly ash reclaimed plotsare the most obvious and the soil particles composition changes of constructionwaste reclaimed plots are the lightest among the reclaimed materials.(2) In the crawler type dozer reclaimed plots, after different compaction degree,the most significant correlation between the soil particle content and the pressure inconstruction waste, coal ash, coal gangue filling land are respectively4.83~10.48μm,4.83~5.86μm and4.83~5.86μm in the particle size range. And thecorrelation coefficient is respectively0.926,0.899and0.699. However, in the dumptruck reclamation plots, the most significant correlation between the soil particlecontent and the pressure in construction waste, coal ash, coal gangue filling land arerespectively2.2~4.83μm,4.83~10.48μm and2.2~4.83μm in the particle size range.And the correlation coefficient is respectively0.936,0.972and0.992.(3) In the reclamation process, after three times compaction by dump truck, thesoil bulk density is more than1.5g cm-3. After nine times compaction by dump truck,the soil bulk density increases to1.76g cm-3, and that makes the soil texture tohardened condition. However, after seven times compaction by crawler type dozer,the soil bulk density is still under1.44g cm-3and suitable for crop growth.According to this study, we have researched the excellent reclaimed machinery,critical times and the sensitive to soil compaction size ranges, and then find out thefundamental reason to the soil compaction. We also have studied the relationshipbetween the soil particle composition and the physical characteristic and then findout the effective improved methods to the soil compositions.
