This experiment evaluates for comparing the induction and maintenance the efficacy between emulsified isoflurane-dexmedetomidine and propofol-dexmedetomidine and the change of the anti-stress ability in intraoperative and postoperative. To explore the feasibility of emulsified isoflurane dexmedetomidine pyridine complex anesthesia. To lay the foundation for the applications with emulsified isoflurane to anesthetize dogs at clinical in the future. Accordingly, this experiment intends to find a medicine which suitable anesthetic dogs for the pre-test experiment, the scientific group test, and combines into the best emulsified isoflurane anesthesia preparations. Then studied the anesthesia in their physiological characteristics with the Datex-OhmedaS/5TM invigilator which be recognized in internation. To measured related stress indicators of cortisol and norepinephrine by Ks604721radioimmunoassay, and monitor comprehensively the anesthesia results in order to compare the affect of animals’body normal physiological function between two groups combined anesthesia.The experiment results showed that:(1) determine the emulsified isoflurane high through scientific group test, medium and low-dose anesthetic anesthetic agents, dogs have good anesthetic effect, in which the analgesic effect of low-dose group and other groups can achieve the same pain threshold and intraoperative cardiovascular changes is small and stable, awake fast, so use the group as a complex formulation of propofol for comparison tests.(2) emulsified isoflurane-dexmedetomidine (EI) group and propofol-dexmedetomidine (PR) group in the induction experiments on dogs are respiratory and circulatory systems have minimal impact; no obvious side effects such as vomiting and cramps; EI group which induce more rapid compared with PR group, wake up faster.(3) The results show that the comparison operation verification, EI and PR group T,HR, RR, SpO2, and MAP trends were similar, there was no significant difference between groups. Hormones cortisol and norepinephrine PR group was significantly higher than EI changes.5min after induction of the two groups to carry out surgery, dogs incision, blunt dissection of muscle and other operations have no reaction, no intraoperative vomiting and other adverse reactions. EI group induction and awake almost at PR group. After the withdrawal awake surgery groups quickly and without complex sleep.The comprehensive experiment results show that the effect of induction and maintenance of anesthesia from the group of emulsified isoflurane was significantly better than in the propofol group. Both of the groups can produce the result of rapid, stable anesthesia effect. And the analgesia, sedation, muscle relaxation effect is good. No adverse reactions. It can significantly reduce the dog’s stress response when intubating. Appropriate duration of anesthesia, the anesthetic effect can be maintained for more than60min to meet the clinical diagnosis and treatment of dogs and scientific experiments and other needs, but also laid the foundation for the further development of a special compound anesthetized dog preparations.
