The synchronization of estrus and the result of superovulation are most important partsof embryo transfer. Suffolk sheep were chosen as donors and Small-tail Han Sheep asrecipients in this experiment to research the effects of different protocols and seasons onsuperovulation and estrus synchronization. The results are as follows.1.In September20Suffolk sheep were superovulated FSH in four different protocols.Different FSH(Ca-FSH,Ch-FSH,Nb-FSH,Ch-FSH+Nb-FSH) were used for differentprotocols. There was no significant difference in average number of corpora lutea (9.40±4.16,8.40±4.10,8.00±6.89,10.60±2.40) or transferable embryos (5.20±5.07,6.60±5.94,4.00±4.64,8.20±4.66). It indicated that FSH made in China can also superovulatewell. The average number of recovered embryos were5.20±5.07,6.60±5.94,4.00±4.64and11.00±4.90. We can see that protocol for Ch-FSH+Nb-FSH is better than others. Sosuperovulated by Ch-FSH+Nb-FSH was suggested.2.In order to research the effects of PMSG in superovulations,we set a test group and acontrol group. In test group, we injected PMSG250IU12h after the last injection ofFSH.The recovery rate of donors,mean large follicles, mean corpora lutea,mean recoveredembryos, mean transferable embryos in test group(81.82%,0.32±1.67,9.27±5.73,6.59±6.22,6.36±6.14) had no significance with control group(76.47%,0.18±0.52,8.24±4.86,7.18±5.72,6.53±5.30)(P>0.05).3.Protocol of PRID+PMSG+PG for Estrus synchronization made a satisfactory result.The estrus rate in36h was77%.
