Calcium, magnesium, sulfur, phosphorus, potassium, and other macroelement playan important role in the growth and metabolism of mushroom. In this study, differentconcentration of Ca, K,Mg, S and P were added in the medium respectively at various growthstages of Pleurotus ostreatus to study the effects of the macroelements on the growth of P.ostreatus, providing the basis for the application of macroelements in the production of oystermushroom. The main results were as follows:1. In PDA medium, the mycelium of oyster mushroom was promoted in the addation of200-400mg/L calcium, in which the mycelium grew faster and white, the edge of the colony wasneat. In the liquid culture, there was no signaficantly different on the biomass between theaddation of calcium and no. In the cottonseed hull medicium, the growth of oyster mushroom waspromoted in the addation of2000mg/kg calcium, in which the mycelium grew faster and thefruiting period was2-3days early, the biological efficiency was higher.2. In PDA medium, the mycelium of oyster mushroom was promoted in the addation of100mg/L magnesium, in which the mycelium grew faster and white. In the liquid culture, the mycelialbiomass was signaficantly increased in the addation of250mg/L magnesium. In the cottonseedhull medicium, the growth of oyster mushroom was promoted in the addation of100mg/kgmagnesium, in which the mycelium grew faster and better, the fruiting period was4-5days early, the biological efficiency was higher as well.3. In PDA medium, the mycelium of oyster mushroom was promoted in the addation of40mg/L sulfur, in which the mycelium grew faster and white, the edge of the colony was neat. In theliquid culture, the mycelial biomass was signaficantly increased in the addation of20mg/L sulfur. In the cottonseed hull medicium, the growth of oyster mushroom was promoted in the addation of100mg/kg sulfur, in which the mycelium grew faster and better, and the biological efficiency was higher as well.4. In PDA medium, the mycelium of oyster mushroom was promoted in the addation of950mg/L phosphorus, in which the mycelium grew faster and white, the edge of the colony was neat.In the liquid culture, there was no signaficantly different on the biomass between the addation ofphosphorus and no. In the cottonseed hull medicium, the growth of oyster mushroom waspromoted in the addation of phosphorus, in which the mycelium grew faster and better, thebiological efficiency was higher as well.5. In PDA medium, the mycelium of oyster mushroom was promoted in the addation of300-550mg/L potassium, in which the mycelium grew faster and white, the edge of the colonywas neat. In the liquid culture, the mycelial biomass was signaficantly increased in the addation of300mg/L potassium. In the cottonseed hull medicium, the growth of oyster mushroom waspromoted in the addation of1000mg/kg potassium, in which the mycelium grew better and thebiological efficiency was higher.
