During Our early study on schima superba,we found that it has a strong inhibition tomagnaporthe oryzae. And The active substances mainly triterpenoid saponins compounds,First of all, according to the principle of similar material miscibility with similar polarityorganic solvent to remove the impurity,With the help of the ether precipitation, then use themacroporous resin to purification.and we also used the HPLC to separate the R3level ofsaponins,Used the resistance to magnaporthe oryzae to found the active substances. Aswell as the level of schima superba R3saponins in acid, alkali treatment, by comparingbefore and after the derivatives, make a preliminary study on the relationship of schimasuperba saponins structure and resistance to magnaporthe oryzae.1. After used the different precipitation agent to precipitation schima superba saponins. The results showed that ethyl ether can precipitate active substance concentration inprecipitation, it could not change the activity of the saponins. And then purified bymacroporous resin, active substances mainly concentrated in the aquifer.2. With the help of HPLC.we separated the R3into four points, Through the myceliumgrowth rate method to determine the concentration of effective suppression of themagnaporthe oryzae. The result is that R3-I-1> R3-I> R3-II> R3> R3–IV> R3-III.3. we have explored the condition of acid and alkali solution of the R3, after alkalitreatment it losed the inhibitory effect to magnaporthe oryzae. While after acid treatmentit’s activity also decreases, but is not very obvious, Put four parts into0.8mol/L HCLunder65℃reaction6.5h, Through the mycelium growth rate method to determine theconcentration of effective suppression of the magnaporthe oryzae, the results showed thatthe four level after acid treatment activity is reduced accordingly. And R3-II reducedmaximum almost61.94%.4. The carboxyl on glucuronic acid and angelica acyl had a great influence on theactivity of primary saponins. The number of sugar-based on secondary saponins has certaincorrelation with resistance to magnaporthe oryzae, within a certain range, the sugar base isless, the activity better.
