Taking Changcun gangue mountain in Lu An group as the research object. We conduct the survey through on-the-spot investigation and monitoring. We combine with laboratory related index determination. We conduct an investigation of different soil layer under different vegetation restoration model. We conduct an investigation of soil physical properties, chemical properties and the effect of comprehensive analysis of soil restoration effect of vegetation restoration mode. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) In the bare soil and the greening of coal gangue, the change trend of soil average temperature and time is Y=ax2+bx+c, including a, b and c are constants, a<0, b, c>0, Y is corresponding to the soil temperature of soil, X for soil thickness. The highest soil temperature is around13:00pm in the middle of the day. With the increase of time, the trend is to increase first and then decrease. In July to October, the soil temperature under different depth of investigation and study showed that the tendency in coal gangue of soil temperature and soil depth is Y=axb, including a, b are constants, Y is the corresponding soil temperature, X is the soil thickness. Others are exposed b<0, the soil temperature decreases with the increase of soil depth.(2) The soil moisture improves significantly under different vegetation restoration model. Vegetation restoration can reduce soil bulk density. After the vegetation restoration, the soil nutrients can increase in coal gangue obviously. There were significant differences of improving soil nutrient under different vegetation patterns. Various-tall fescue-alfalfa mixed model improved the best effect, is beneficial to the accumulation of soil nutrients. Soil improvement of acid is the best. Torch tree of rapidly-available potassium accumulation effect is best. Tall fescue-alfalfa on soil organic matter accumulation effect is best. Parker floor patterns on soil improvement effect is poorer.(3) There are very significant negative correlation between the soil nutrient and slope, ground temperature. The greater the slope, vegetation restoration effect is poorer. It is difficult to soil and water conservation; High temperature plot due to the plants at high temperature of coal gangue piles is difficult to grow, even turned into bare land.
