Because of its nutrient-rich、high-quality and enticing aroma, people love pineapple very much. The demand of pineapple is increasing, however, how to harvest pineapple becomes an onerous task, so it is particularly important to mechanize pineapple harvesting. At present day,there are sill not many researches on mechanical harvesting of pineapple at home and abroad.Through researching the pineapple automatic harvester, it is very significant for the mechanized harvesting of pineapple and the development of agricultural mechanization.Based on the analysis of the research of fruit-harvesting machine at home and abroad, by surveying and analyzing the cropping characteristics and physical properties of pineapple, we get the basis data about the pineapple harvester design. Furthermore, we propose the overall program of the pineapple automatic harvesting. The pineapple harvester contains picking part、 transportation par、adjusting part and more, and there are advantages of high efficient picking、 low fruit loss、low cost. The key technology of the pineapple harvester is the design of picking part, counterfeiting the picking action of the hand to design the picking mechanism. It should be addressed the issue about the structural parameters and motion parameters of the picking part. In addition, how to match the picking part and the transportation part is also very important to the design.In this paper, we use the three-dimensional digitizing software——Solidworks to build up the model and design the structure of the pineapple harvester, use the MATLAB to analyze and optimize the trajectory of the picking part, and initially identified the rotation speed of the picking part and the moving speed of the tractor. To further validate the motion parameters and dynamic parameters of the picking, we use the ADAMS to simulate the movement of the picking part, analyze the dynamics of the contact process of picking part and pineapple, and determine the rotation speed of the picking part to be100r/min、the range of moving speed of the machine to be between1.25m/s and1.75m/s.
