Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus), as an important fruits and vegetables, are the mainsummer cool products. But watermelon is a strictly avoid cropping crops, seriouslyaffecting the sound development of the watermelon industry. Currently watermelon croprotation with other crops, cropping obstacles become a effective way to improve, has beenwidely used. This study aimed to explore the wheat, crown daisy as catch crops to alleviatethe effects of plastic channel watermelon cropping obstacles, providing a theoretical basisfor future agricultural production. Methods of the study was preliminary laboratory testsand field trials late combined to make even watermelon shed for three trials, setting wheat(X)-Watermelon, crown daisy (T)-watermelon, blank (CK)-Watermelon three treatments, determination of growth indexs and disease incidence of each growth stage after has plantedwatermelon, and analysis of microbial flora analysis, determination of watermelon fruit afterharvest quality indicators, the indicators compare different treatments. The results are:1wheat(X)-Watermelon, Crown daisy(T)-Watermelon Catch modes reduces both watermelonwilt incidence, Fusarium wilt incidence CK>X>T;2.Two catch modes had a promoting roleon watermelon growth stage and the formation of fruit quality3. Two catch modes bothimproved the microbial community structure of soil in watermelon plastic channel, makingbeneficial microbes such as bacteria and antinomycetes become the dominant floras.Showed that wheat-watermalon and crown daisy-watermalon two catch modes are effectivemeasures to relieve cropping obstacles in watermelon plastic channel.
