Research on the cultivation of Cordyceps militaris began in1986. The past30years, itscultivation method continues to be improved. However, due to many affecting factors, thecultivation technology has not been popularization in China. Therefore, study on theenvironmental factors of Cordyceps militaris is great important for its industrialization. Thisarticle studies factors such as light intensity, illumination time and light colors. The mainresearch resuluts are as follows.1. Cordyceps militaris were cultured under several light intensity, evaluate thediscoloration of mycelium, bio-efficiency, growth cycle, storma shape, substrate utilizationefficiency and antioxidant enzymes activity, establish mathematical models of these indexes.The results show that the light intensity significantly affect various indicators, the mostsuitable light intensity is176lx, its bio-efficiency is96.46%. Light intensity significantlyaffect the synthesis of cordycepin, when the light intensity increased to650lx, the content ofcordycepin of storma increased to5.26mg/g.2. By comparing the characters of Cordyceps militaris, explore its suitable illuminationtime. The results show that the illumination time significantly affect the discoloration ofmycelium, bio-efficiency, growth cycle, storma shape, substrate utilization efficiency andantioxidant enzymes activity, the most suitable illumination time is8.65h/d, its bio-efficiencyis89.06%. Light intensity significantly affect the synthesis of cordycepin, when theillumination time increased to8h/d, the content of cordycepin of storma and substrateincreased to4.41mg/g and8.48mg/g.3. Using binary quadratic general rotary unitized design, to explore the effects of lightintensity and illumination time on the bio-efficiency of Cordyceps militaries. The resultsshow that the best lighting conditions, light intensity is205lx, illumination time is9.2h/d.4. Cordyceps militaris were cultured under blue light, red light, green light and yellowlight, compared with white light, analysis their influence on the discoloration of mycelium, bio-efficiency, growth cycle, stroma shape, substrate utilization efficiency and activity ofantioxidant enzymes and amylase. The results show that the blue light can promote theprocess of color and the synthesis of cordycepin. The green light can increase the length ofthe stroma, increase its production, improve the activity of amylase. The red and yellow lightcan increase the diameter of the stroma.
