Corn is one of the world’s three major grains. China is the world’s second largestcorn producer and the largest corn consumption country. Accelerating corn harvestmechanization development has become a pressing matter of the moment, is fullymechanization of corn production as a key. If the transmission system is not reliable,other Parts can’t work well either, so a set of reliable transmission system must bedesigned. While the transmission system of the main transmission box plays forward,backward respectively the distribution of power main effect, so, the main transmissionbox optimization have the effect that cannot be underestimated.In this Paper, the4Y–2type combined corn harvester structure was summarised, itsadvantages and disadvantages were analyzed,4Y–2corn harvester transmission systemfunction and technical requirements were introduced. To get the mosteffective coordination numerical of cutter, snapping roll and the speed value by using theorthogonal experiment. Extreme difference analysis and variance analysis ofexperimental results, finally determined the most effective optimum ratio of the gear box.The key Parts of combined corn harvester transmission system was carried out adetailed static and dynamic analysis.It was found that the structural strength and stiffnessof the combined corn harvester transmission system were the key components thataffected the reliable running of the combined corn harvester. Through the detailedanalysis of the key mechanisms of the combined corn harvester transmission system byforce, vibration frequency and deformation. the transmission system in the spur gear,straight bevel gears, input shaft, bearing the maximum deformation, deformation position,the maximum integrated stress and fifth-order vibration frequency was calculated; ItsimPact on the transmission system to run was analysised.The shaft, spur gear and bearing support structure Parameters in transmissionsystem was carried out finite element optimization of simulation; The degree of shockand vibration imPactthe degree of deformation and the possibility of failure stressphenomenon to the transmission system when to run them in the course of their workwas analysised.At the same time, their natural frequency and vibration shape was also studied, the possibility of resonance and influence the reliability of combined cornharvester was discussed.The shaft, spur gear and bearing structural Parameters mainlyaffected the transmission system reliability, Changes in the structural Parameters had ahuge influence of the internal stress distribution.The different structural Parameters of thedrive system influence rule was found out, and the structural Parameters of thecorresponding optimization was designed.The influence rule of different Parameters onthe transmission system running was found out, and the structural Parameters of thecorresponding optimization were designed.
