Facility agriculture area in China is expanding, and is leading the world.However its ecosystem control technology and system is still immature,with low level of intelligence. This puts significant constrain on theefficient, high-quality, safe and sustainable production of facilityagriculture. Promoting application of modern information technology inagriculture will solve a series of technical questions in informationcollection in wide area, efficient and reliable information transmission,intelligent system integration for different needs and environment. Thiswill be a catalyst for the transition from traditional farming to modernfarming. This also provides opportunity for creating new technology andservice development in IOT (internet of things) farming application.This paper presents an intelligent monitoring system for facilityagriculture ecosystem based on IOT. The solution is divided into fourfunction layers based on the difference in information exchange processand task logical handling, i.e. sensor layer, transmission layer, monitoringlayer, application layer. Under the guidance of a hierarchical model,weresearch the wireless sensor nodes in a complex agricultural habitat conditions,and the the sensor nodes with low power consumption,strongcapability of anti-stress and can expand secondarycharacteristics.Meanwhile,we design an intelligent sensor network whichcan effectively reduce the task that route may take and ensure theefficiency and reliability of the network data transmission.By studyingAI-Bus middleware model,we eliminated the phenomenon ofheterogeneous(difference in system, difference in information),and bybuilding the intergrated technology based on the distributed internet ofthings information platfrom,we developed the collection of commondata、synchronization procedures and application modules to achievedatasharing、online support coordinated operation and integrationmanagement.Hardware equipments and software platform in agriculturalhabitat monitoring system has now applied to Pujiang base of ShanghaiJiaotong University and the deployment proved the system to effectivelyimprove the agricultural habitat monitoring platform efficiency and theintelligence of agricultural production,validated feasibility of thetheoretical basis and development of the advanced systems...
