Guangdong province is located in tropic and subtropical zone, it has temperate climate all year round and long frost free period, its four seasons are suitable for agriculture, the fruit trees biological diversity is rich and distinctive, so that fruit tree planting is an important part of fruit industry of Guangdong province and even the whole agriculture industry. This topic is to carry out research in growth environment modeling and science exhibition design of Lingnan fruit tree, it has important significance in agricultural production and science education.This paper firstly analyzes the current status on research of wireless sensor monitoring of environmental factors, crop growth model based on environmental conditions, the development trend of environmental factors monitoring and modeling and the science exhibition design. Based on the analysis above, combined with the needs of this topic, from the point of view of fruit biology,4 kinds of environmental factors (temperature, humidity, light, soil moisture) are screened out which majorly and directly affect Lingnan fruit trees’growth. A monitoring system of ecological environment parameters is designed based on wireless sensor network, using single chip computer-the Arduino UNO main control board- as the core processor, integrating modern sensor technology, circuit and system technology as well as wireless sensor network technology, to realize environmental factors monitoring of the growth of fruit trees swiftly and accurately. The test environment is set up in the greenhouse in Guangdong Science Center, by setting different environmental conditions(e.g. light, humidity) and making contrast experiments with other monitoring and measuring equipment, such as Parrot Flower Power, mercury thermometer and hygrometer purchased on the market. Test results shows that the laboratory wireless sensor system has quality accuracy and applicability in data monitoring, and is able to meet the needs of the research.This research uses Laboratory sensor system, selects the Clausena Lansium Tree as a representative species of Lingnan fruit trees, monitors environmental data and measures growth data lasting for 28 weeks, assumes relationship between fruit trees growth and main environmental factors, constructs mathematical model to describe the rule between Lingnan fruit tree growth and environmental factors. Based on the Logistic Curve, single factor and multi-factor Logistic growth model of Clausena Lansium Tree are established, simultaneously, a multiple linear regression model is built up. The fitting analysis shows that, the multi-factor Logistic model is more suitable for the growth rule of Clausena Lansium Tree, moreover, the model is a general and portable modeling method of growth environment factors for other fruit trees, it has the same application significance of citrus, litchi and longan. Based on the real-time monitoring results of Lingnan fruit trees, science exhibition is designed, demonstrating the results of real-time monitoring of Lingnan fruit trees to convey fruit knowledge to the audience.This research realizes achieving environmental factors information of Lingnan fruit trees growth swiftly and accurately, is a pragmatic research to apply information technology in agricultural production, meanwhile, this research develops monitoring system, showing real-time monitoring results of Lingnan fruit trees for the purpose of science communication, it can impart scientific knowledge, enlighten scientific thinking, stimulate visitors’ curiosity and interest in scientific inquiry, and arouse the public understanding of biological knowledge, thus it has important significance of scientific popularization and innovation.
