The National Wetland Resources Protection And Utilization Of Aged Trees With Research In Guangdong Haizhu

The ancient trees in Haizhu wetland were researched as the object in this paper.For the species of the plant existed in Haizhu wetland, the species and quantity of the fruit trees, The number of the ancient trees, its basic situation(the plant height,the crown breadth, the diameter at breast height, the age of the tree), the distributio n and other content, and the existing problems of ancient trees for the discussing a nd researching.What’s more, based on that, investigating and studying on the ancient trees in Haizhu wetland, and putting forward some Suggestions on the future dev elopment of ancient trees,accorded to the theory of aesthetics, the principle of lands cape science and so on.(1)It expounded the value and the function of the ancient trees, included, the own economic value, the ecological value,the scientific value of the ancient trees the ancient landscape value, the tourism value,the social and the economic value of the ancient trees, etc.The importance of protection for the ancient trees in the wetland was pointed out.(2)It introduced the basic situation of the area-Haizhu of the Haizhu wetland loca ted. The basic situation of the natural conditions it included such as, the geographi cal location, the land resources, the climate characteristics, the hydrological situation,the Social and the cultural situation. Also it introduced the existing landscape conditions in the Haizhu wetland: The Haizhu wetland area covers 16500 mu. The Haizhu wetland and the landscape resources surrounded mainly included the orchard ecological landscape resources, the river flood water system landscape, the cultural landscape resources, etc. In the scope of the Haizhu wetland mainly contained Shan gchong Fruit Trees Park, Haizhu Lake, Haizhu Wetland Phase I, Haizhu Wetland P hase II, Beishan Park and Yingzhou Ecological Park, and there are three representat ive parks. Including Haizhu Lake, Haizhu Wetland Phase I, Haizhu Wetland Phase I I.(3) We mainly investigated the basic information about Haizhu wetland plants, includi ng the existing terrestrial plants of 109 families, 221 genera, 295 species, and fruit trees are 12 families, 15 genera, 17 species. In addition to fruit trees, other wetland plant resourc es are abundant, including aquatic plants with a total of 18 families, 27 genera and 45 speci es. Cover plant are a total of 32 families, 81 genera, 86 species. Shrub are a total of 32 fami lies, 52 genera and 62 species. Vines are 9 families, 11 genera and 14 species. Trees are a total of 27 families, 41 genera and 62 species. Vegetables are a total of 4 families, 7 gener a, 9 kinds.The largest number of fruit trees in the wetlands is Clausena lansium,accounting for 62.89% of the total survey, followed by the Dimocarpus longan, Averrhoa carambola, Litchi chinensis, respectively, 17.35%, 15.34%, 1.19% of the total number of investigations, the rest of the fruit trees(3.23%). Fruit trees mainly are yellow skin, longa n, star fruit, litchi, Musa nana, Psidium guajava Linn. And a small amount of planting pine apple(Ananas comosus), acuminatissima(Syzygium jambos(l.) Alston) and Citrus(Citru s reticulata Blanco) and so on.(4)We investigate the quantity and distribution of ancient trees in each area of Haizh u Wetland, and calculate the age of trees. Through investigating, there are a total of 219 ancient trees within Haizhu wetland, of which the largest number of ancient litchi tree to a total of 152, whose age are between 102 ~ 111 years.Next it followed by longan ancient trees, which the quantity are 49 and the age are probably between 100 ~ 102 years.A total of 16 carambola tree, the age of the ancient trees are between100 ~ 115 years,the oldest is 115 years.(5)In Haizhu Wetland,through the investigation and analysis of ancient trees, using the principle of aesthetics, the ancient trees are analyzed and studied. We put forward that ancient aesthetics plays a role in landscape aesthetics, including color beauty, posture,smell and texture beauty. And we evaluate the representative ancient tree in each area. In view of the existing ancient trees situation, we proposed the Suggestions of development and protection of ancient trees.
