Due to the diverse climate, Shaanxi Province, one of the largest fruit production of China, is suitable for planting a variety of temperate fruits, which is located in central China. What is more, the plantation areas and fruit yield are both the largest of China and the fruits are exported more than 80 countries and regions. However, the fresh fruit export influence by the trade technical significantly, so that pests have become one of the important factors that restrict Shaanxi fruit exporting and making profits. The codling moth, Cydia pomonella and oriental fruit fly Bactrocera dorsalis all belong to the international quarantine pests. The codling moth is one of the serious borers worldwide, while there are many regions of China such as Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang and Jilin suffer enormous damage. As a result of bounded by Gansu, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi is facing a serious threat of codling moth invasion. The oriental fruit fly impacts on a number of garden stuff productions of south China seriously. With the garden stuff trade increasing and global warming, the possibility of it invades to Shaanxi is increasing enormously. Therefore, it is greatly significant and necessary to monitor codling moth and oriental fruit fly during the process of fruit production in ShaanxiIn order to investigate occurrence of the codling moth and oriental fruit fly in Shaanxi, we set up monitoring points in the main Shaanxi fruit production from May to November in 2014, applying pheromone traps to monitor the number of codling moth and the flies. Moreover, sources of suspected Bactrocera dorsalis were analyzed preliminarily, comparing the effect of different pheromone traps on the fly. The results indicate that:(1) The codling moth has not yet been found in Shaanxi;(2) 5 species of fruit flies: Dacus trimacula, Bactrocera minax, Bactrocera tau, Bactrocera scutellata and the suspected Bactrocera dorsalis were captured in the fruit fly monitoring points. Specifically, Dacus trimacula was the dominant species, and the total number of them is 2330;(3) The result of the investigation of Bactrocera dorsalis suspected source in Changan, Huxian area indicated that it spread from the center to around in the orchard and invade by fruit transportation;(4) Lure results of Cuelure trap to Dacus trimacula and Bactrocera scutelltat are significant higher than the Protein Attractants, Methyl Eugenol and Trimedlure. Besides, Methyl Eugenol and Trimedlure have strong specificity.
