With the development of science and technology, the development of animal husbandry is going into a new phase, a modern pasture replace the traditional retail farming by large scale farming. Based on such a background and conditions, we propose a new measurement method of milk production of a cow---- non-contact milk measurement testing system based on infrared light curtain. The purpose is to achieve high efficiency, high precision and non-contact measurement.Based on the domestic and foreign research status and trend of the two-phase flow, the paper established a microtubules slug flow model of the gas-liquid two-phase flow. By comparing the existing domestic and foreign fluid speed system, proposed and designed an infrared light curtain measuring and testing system based on infrared detection technology, using infrared pulse which has immunity to interference, to finish non-contact, high-precision flow detection, with wireless transmission of data to the cloud platform, to achieve online monitoring of milk production information. Through the design of hardware and software, the paper realize the signal acquisition of milk flow by the infrared light curtain. With the DAQ USB-6251 data acquisition card of NI company, the paper analysis, collected, stored the data, and do the time domain analysis, frequency spectrum analysis and correlation analysis with Fourier Transformation to many signal acquisition point, and using high-speed camera photograph the two-phase flow as the signal analysis of simultaneous contrast, to achieve a non-contact infrared light curtain to identify gas-liquid two-phase flow of raw milk in microtubule, the paper provide a theoretical exploration for further researching the pattern and the flow mechanism of two-phase flow, and also provide practical exploration for the following study to achieve infrared non-contact measurement of raw milk.
