In order to study on growth and development of Panax notoginseng and seedlings, and the effects of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium on accumulation of aboveground and underground parts of dry and fresh matter of annual and biennial notoginseng, and four trace elements effects of aboveground biomass and underground parts of the cumulative of dry matter and fresh material of annual and biennial Panax notoginseng, we had took the optimal design of N, P and K with four levels and four trace elements with different levels in the field experiments. Now we got the following conclusions:1、Notoginseng grew rapidly after the emergence of seedlings, and height growth rate was very fast to grow until around August 15. Ste m diameter growth rate in March to June was the largest and fastest growing. Aboveground and underground parts of biomass increased with increasing time. The variation of growth of aboveground fresh weight and dry weight trends presented basically the same, which begins flowering buds in late section of July, and picking mature buds in June late in which aboveground biomass reached its maximum. Biomass underground continued growing trend which went the maximum at 15 August to October 15 th.3、The different ratio of N, P and K fertilizer on notoginseng had significant effect on the growth. Only N fertilizer, P fertilizer and K fertilizer had higher plant height. N and K fertilization in the appropriate range could contribute to the accumulatio n of the underground part of the fresh material, P showed an upward trend after the first decline in fertilizer range.4、Different N, P and K rate had a significant effect on the growth of notoginseng. N and P fertilizer were conducive to promote height growth and dry weight; K fertilizer increased the lateral roots to promote beneficial active ingredients of Panax accumulation, which was not conducive to the accumulation of plant total saponins.5、Different ratio of C u, Mg, Zn and B had a significant impact on the growth of seedlings, content C u and B were inhibition of the growth of plant height, and not conducive to the growth of seedlings. Mg fertilizer could promote seedling growth, but Zn fertilizer was not obvious on seedling growth promoting effect. C u, Mg, Zn and B could promote increasing fresh weight in a certain range, but excessive fertilization will inhibit the growth of fresh weight.6、Cu was not conducive to the growth and accumulation of active ingredients. Mg fertilizer, Zn and B manure fertilizer could promote the growth and were conducive to promote accumulation of fresh matter and dry matter of aboveground aboveground and underground sections, but excessive fertilization would result in yields.7、The fertilizer amount of N, P and K is N : 3.15~5.025 kg.667m-2,P2O5: 4.175~6.456 kg.667m-2, K2O: 7.94~12.402 kg.667m-2 when Panax notoginseng target yield at196.07~226.10 kg.667m-2. The fertilizer amount of N, P and K is N4.77—9.958 kg/667m2, P2O5 3.10—7.375 kg/667m2, and K2 O 15.76—29.648 kg/667m2 when Panax notoginseng target yield at 57.43—75.96kg/667m2.
