In this study, bamboo shoot scraps (BSS) were taken as raw material and treated through compound silage and microbial solid fermentation process to explore the the feed-based value-added effect; compound silage bamboo shoots scraps from the alternative diet concentrate feeding cattle and sheep experiment was taken to discuss the application of ruminant production and provide a scientific basis for efficient use of bamboo shoots scraps from the feed. This study mainly contained the following four parts:(1) the assessment of feeding value of bamboo shoot scraps; (2) mixed bacterium fermented bamboo stump to produce minor peptide feed; (3) the effects of BSS silages feeding on beef cattle; (4) effects of BSS silages feeding on Hu sheep.Experiment 1:This experiment includes two parts.Part 1:By measuring the general nutrients and amino acids of BSS, the results showed that:the bamboo shoot scraps contained 10.4% dry matter,15.5% protein, 34.7% coarse fiber,2.2% crude fats,0.86% calcium,1.25% phosphorus, and its nutrient contents were higher than the apple residue and pod shell; the content of total amino acid (TAA) and essential amino acids(EAA) were respectively 2.907 mg/g and 7.873 mg/g, the essential amino acids accounted for 37% of total amino acids, the ratio of essential and unessential amino acid(E/N) is 58.5%, and its amino acid content was less than pod but higher than pomace.Part 2:This part included the determination of bamboo shoots scraps silage and the identification of silage quality, the general nutrients result showed that BSS silages are contained DM 23.8%, CP 15.7%, CF34.8%, EE 2.3%, Ca 0.67%, P0.83%, the on-site evaluation results showed that the BSS silage has a strong smell of wine, humid struture and fawn colour; while the laboratory evaluation rusult showed that pH value 3.9、ammonia nitrogen/total nitrogen 8.93%、LA13.49%、AA0.12%、 PA 0.14%、BA 0.08%.The silage quality is to achieve optimal level. It comes to the conclusion that BSS was abundant in nutrients and especially BSS silages as well which is higher than corn silage. It can be used as ruminants roughage because of its high development value.Experiment 2:This test was taken the minor peptites’ increasing rate as the index, selected Aspergillus Niger and Bacillus Subtilis to mix and fermented the bamboo stump. First the fermentation chose the suitable conditions through the single factor test, and then optimized the suitable conditions through the orthogonal experiment. The results showed that under the condition of natural pH and the ratio 1:1 of material to water, Aspergillus Niger and Bacillus Subtilis mixed fermented bamboo stump. The optimal fermentation conditions were temperature 35℃, fermentation time 60h, Bacillus Subtilis and Aspergillus Niger vaccination ratio 1:1, wheat bran addition 15%. Under the condition of that, the increasing rate of minor peptites is 26.3%, the protein content was 25.7% and increased 6 percents.Experiment 3:The objective of this study was investigated BSS silage on feed intake, ADG and economical benefit. Twelve F1 crossbreds of local yellow cattle with angus were divided into two groups by random block design. Cattles of control group fed the cattle farms of the original diet and feeding. The test group cattles were fed with diets content BSS substituted the wheat and barley in concentrate feed. Results indicated that, both the feed intake and ADG of test group cattles were significantly higher than control group, feed intake increased 7.1% and ADG increased 9.7%.Every cattle of the test group can save 2.25 yuan than the control group a month, and the feed cost decreased 0.92%. There was 62.5 yuan profit that was more than in the control group, and the profit incresed 17.72% per cattle.Experiment 4:Effects of feeding BSS silages on Hu sheep daily gain、serum biochemical parameters and economic benefit. Seleceted 40 Hu sheep wether which are randomly divided into four groups of 10.Control group was fed with the basal diet; treatment groups were replaced 10%,20%,30% concentrate feed with BSS silage. The results are as follows:Each treatment group improved sheep daily gain but not signigicantly (P>0.05), and group of 20% daily gain 206g was the highest one, experimental groups 14.66g,22.33g,12.33g higher than the control group respectively. The experiment increased of TP, T-CHO, TG and decreased of BUN in the sheep serum by added BSS silage. However the difference was not significant(P >0.05). The total feed cost of control was 381.45 yuan, increased by 4.03 yuan,9.15 yuan,14.31 yuan to the treatment groups, respectively. The gain feed cost was the lowest in group 2(6.02yuan), compared with control group, treatment groups saved by 0.58 yuan,0.9 yuan,0.68 yuan, respectively.
