Mini sweetpotato is a single tuber which weight is50-150g. It has beautiful appearance, delicate texture, glutinous sweet taste, rich nutrition, flavor concentration. Owing to the potato is small, commodity nature is good and is easy to microwave baking or cooking, it’s favored by consumers. The price is3-6times than the ordinary sweet potato, so as to effectively promote the development of the industry and rapidly expand the planting area. However, the present situation of water resources in China is not optimistic, which brings lots of problems to the large-scale cultivation of mini sweet potato. From the perspective of agricultural development, the scale of agricultural irrigation continues to expand. Meanwhile, water shortage is becoming increasingly prominent, which requires the development of agricultural benefit must towards the development of agricultural water-saving benefit. From the development trend, high-efficiency agriculture must be water-saving agriculture.Research on the mini sweet potato is mostly in the breeding, while research on aspects of water is little. The mini potato--"Xinxiang" as the research object, through the experiment of water and fertilizer coupling, different growth stages and different water treatments and different soil moisture and growth regulator two-two combined, to explore its water requirement characteristics and water saving and high yield cultivation measures. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:In the water and fertilizer coupling experiment, the mini potato--"Xinxiang", the yield reaches to the highest in the soil relative water content of50±5%and fertilization conditions, for the436.2g/strain. The yield of two treatments between40±5%and65±5%had no significant difference, the yield of others reach significant level. Under the condition of water and fertilizer coupling,"Xinxiang" physiological and biochemical indexes and photosynthetic indexes shows the variation tendency.In the experiment of different water treatments in different growing periods, the yield of "Xinxiang" reaches to the highest in the soil relative water content is50±5%, for535.29g/strain, the best watering measures are in the growth medium (S) for moisture control,normally watering in the early stage and later stage. Under different soil moisture treatments, changing trend indicators three stages are similar."Xinxiang" in the soil relative water content for the best is50±5%, fulvic acid concentration is1000g/L, and the yield is404.14g/strain.
