Objective:Ensure the absorption and distribution of nutrient element which containsnitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in different growth period of Rehmannia glutinosa.Searchthe appropriate moisture content of soil during different growth period by fieldtest.Preliminarily explore the best approach of water-fertilizer to provide basis for fieldmanagement(scientific fertilizing, availably utilize water resource) and to lay the groundworkfor spreading and applying of GAP.Methods:When the Rehmannia glutinosa was in seeding stage,we began to observe andrecord the plant properties(the number, the length and width of leaves, the height and the widthof plant),dry matter(the fresh and dry matter of leaves, the number, the fresh and dry matter ofroot tuber). The nutrient element of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium was measured by usingkjeldah method, mosb antispetrophotography method and atomic absorption spectrometry. The moisture content of soil were set in there level(top, mid, low). Observe the plantproperties and dry matter regularly of the field which was maintained in different level of soilmoisture after each irrigation.Mensurate the yield of test plot during the harvest period andevaluate the quality in the lab(relevant component was measured by HPLC and UltravioletSpectrophotometry).Orthogonal design L16(45) was used in field experiment,in order to research the effectabout yield and quality of Rehmannia glutinosa which may be resulted from soil moisture, fertilization and formula of fertilizer.Observe the plant properties and dry matter regularly aftereach trial;Mensurate the yield of test plot during the harvest and evaluate the quality in thelab.Apply grading methods of synthesizing multiple guidelines to optimize coupling ofwater-fertilizer.Results:1Study on the rhythm of growth and development and dry matter accumulationThe number of leaves was5~7in seeding stage and it had15~17in the latter part of August which was the largest number. The above-ground part began to damp off in the latterpart of October. The dry matter of leaves had maximum weight in the latter part of August, afterthen it was decreased; The number of root tuber was3~5. The dry matter of root tuberincreased gradually during the whole growing period.2Research on the absorbing and distributing characteristic of nitrogen, phosphorus andpotassiumDuring the growth period, potassium has highest demand, nitrogen has less demand thanpotassium, the demand phosphorus of is least. The fraction of nitrogen, phosphorus andpotassium which were absorbed by Rehmannia glutinosa were different during the growthperiod. The fraction is5.2:1:16.8in seeding stage. The fraction is4.8:1:22.4in formative period. The fraction is1.6:1:22.9in intamescentia period. The fraction is-13.3:1:34.4in harvestperiod. The formative and intamescentia period were very critical during whole growth period.3Effect of different soil moisture on yield and quality of Rehmannia glutinosaThe soil moisture has significant effect on plant properties, biomass, yield and quality.Whenthe soil moisture is higher, the number, the length and width of leaves, the height and the widthof plant are all decreased in the same growing period. The tendency which were caused bydifferent soil moisture was top>mid>low>CK.The number of root tuber has no difference.Thefresh and dry matter of leaves is decreased with soil moisture decreasing, the treatment of W2has highest fresh and dry matter of root tuber. The treatment of W2has highest yield, the yieldof W3is less and the yield of CK is least(just18.7kg),the quality of W2was the best among thedifferent treatment.4Coupling effcets of water-fertilizer on plant properties and biomass of RehmanniaglutinosaThe plant properties has significant difference among the groups. In intamescentia periodthe treatment of10,13has most leaves(just has19blades),the treatment of1has the leastnumber(just has9blades).The length of leaves of treatment5was22.3cm,it was the longest;the treatment of9which the length of leaves was10cm,width of plant was35.3cm has biggestwidth of leave and width of plant. the treatment of which the height of plant had23cm was11and it was the highest. The treatment of1which the height of plant had11cm was shortest.Among the treatment, in intamescentia period the fresh weight of leaves with treatment of5,11were biggest which had47.9g and the dry weight of leaves with treatment of11which had11.7g was biggest, the treatment of9which fresh weight of root tuber was300.3g,dry weight ofroot tuber was56g had biggest fresh and dry weight of root tuber.5Coupling effcets of water-fertilizer on yield and quality of Rehmannia glutinosa The treatment of10,11,12had superior yield which had37.48kg/7.5m2,and the treatmentof1,2,3,4,15had lower yield than matched group, the treatment of9,11had great quality. Thesoil moisture had significance effect on yield and quality of Rehmannia glutinosa during thechoosed range, the soil moisture which run up to60~70%after each irrigation could attaingreat result. The other four facts could not effect the yield and quality of Rehmannia glutinosasignificantly. Conclusion: When the Rehmannia glutinosa was in seeding stage, the demand of nitrogenwas higher and it is time to fertilize, the rate of N in the fertilization should be higher;when theRehmannia glutinosa was in formative and intamescentia period which were very importantduring the growth period of Rehmannia glutinosa and it is time to fertilize, the rate of P,K in thefertilization should be higher. The best soil moisture is that seeding stage has40~50%, formative stage has50~60%,the intamescentia stage has50~60%,the harvest stage has20~30%.both the yield andquality of Rehmannia glutinosa could be improved by using this method.During the formative and intamescentia period, the fertilization is50kg/667m2informative period, the rate of N,P,K is6:1:1, the fertilization is60kg/667m2in intamescentiaperiod, the rate of N,P,K is1.6:1:3,the soil moisture should be60~70%after each irrigation, this is a appropriate approach of the application of water-fertilizer during the growth period ofRehmannia glutinosa.
