| Cyclobalanopsis glauca and Cyclobalanopsis gliva are excellent hardwood tree species andprecious native tree in China. Effects of container root control, chemical root control and windresistance on4-year-old Cyclobalanopsis glauca and Cyclobalanopsis gliva container seedlings werestudied in this paper. Through the comprehensive comparison on various relevant indicators ofseedlings, the optimum root-control container, root-control reagent and concentration, wind-resistancemeasure were screened out, aiming at providing technical support and theoretical basis for cultivatinglandscaping seedings. The main results are as follows:The four-year old seedlings of Cyclobalanopsis glauca and Cyclobalanopsis gliva were planted inplastic basins (D30cmxH30cm), rocket basin (D30cmxH35cm) and non-woven bags (D30cmxH35cm).The effect of different containers on morphological indices, biomass accumulation, physiologicalindices, root configuration indexes and quality index of Cyclobalanopsis glauca container seedlings wasanalyzed. The results show that non-woven bags are the optimal containers for four-year old seedlingsof Cyclobalanopsis glauca and rocket basins are the optimal containers for four-year old seedlings ofCyclobalanopsis gliva. Because non-woven bags are cheaper and lighter and folded, they could be usedto realize large-scale and factory production of the Cyclobalanopsis gliva container seedling.Different concentration of CuSO4, ZnSO4, Al2(SO4)3and trifluralin was respectively mixed withemulsion varnish and than coated on the inner wall of root control bags comparing on the treatmentwhich inner wall was coated on only emulsion varnish. The effect of different kinds of chemicalreagent on morphological indices, biomass accumulation, physiological indices, root configurationindexes and quality index of Cyclobalanopsis glauca and Cyclobalanopsis gliva container seedlingswas analyzed. The results show that140g·L-1ZnSO4preparation is optimal root-control reagent forfour-year old seedlings of Cyclobalanopsis glauca, followed by220g·L-1CuSO4preparation;140g·L-1CuSO4preparation is optimal root-control reagent for four-year old seedlings ofCyclobalanopsis gliva, followed by220g·L-1ZnSO4preparation.In the case of simulating natural wind, we studied and analyzed morphological changes, wind damage situation and wind-resistance index of4-year-old Cyclobalanopsis glauca andCyclobalanopsis gliva container seedlings, which were separately taken the treatments of no wind-resistance measure, stended, half buried in the ground, half buried in the ground and stended, halfburied in the ground and siamese lashing. The result indicated that Cyclobalanopsis glauca whichtake measure of half buried in the ground and stended suffered minimal wind damage and had thehighest wind-resistance level than other wind-resistance measures, Cyclobalanopsis gliva which takemeasure of half buried in the ground and siamese lashing are better than other wind-resistancemeasures. Therefore, it was suggested that half buried in the ground and stended, half buried in theground and siamese lashing was taken first to defense Typhoon when Cyclobalanopsis glauca andCyclobalanopsis gliva container seedlings were producted in coastal areas. |
