Camellia oleifera Abel is an important specie of woody edible oil in South China. In order to improve the productivity and economic benefits of Camellia.9audited varieties including xianglin No.l had been introduced from Hunan province and conducted cultivation experiment in Lishui. In the thesis, the following tasks have been completed:1. Phenological phase contrast observation between9introduced clones of xianglin Camellia varieties and years cultivated changlin varieties were carried out in different places including Baiguo garden in forests technology institute of Lishui, zhengdi rural in Liandu district and xiemaxiang village in zhangdan rural qingtian county, whose results showed they have the consistent phonological phase and can fit the climate of Lishui after introduced. According to the statistics of3pilot sites survival rates, the average survival rate of afforestation of most varieties in9Xianglin series were more than80%, of which Baiguo garden pilot site won the highest survival rate (90.93%), followed by Zhangdan rural site (90.09%), Zhengdi rural site got the lowest survival rate (66.21%) which may be associated with site conditions, especially altitude.9Camellia Clones of Xianglin No.185, Xianglin No.27, Xianglin No.28made the best survival rate of mininum90%, while Xianglin No.5was the worst of only64.07%. the Pearson correlation analysis of3consecutive years’ measurement in growth height, crown width and ground diameter of9Xianglin series revealed that:growth height, crown width and ground diameter in2009,2010and2011were highly significant correlation (P<0.01) with the highest correlation between crown and ground diameter, followed by the correlation between ground diameter and height, whose trend increases with the growth year. However, these three traits of height, crown width and ground diameter were not correlated with the number of branches, but also showed a tendency of increasing correlation coefficient with the growth years.2.Varieties cutting orchard including all9varieties of xianglin No.l No.3No.5No.27No.28No.35No.97No.210No.185has been established in the hill near the Xianyi village, Lixin rural. Liandu district, Lishui Zhejiang province. Plots comparing experiments with16samples in each variety have been established on9varieaties including xianglin No.1, from which the differences in total number of spikes, average length and thickness were found among different varieties and3plots. Analysis of varience suggested that the differences in total number of spikes, average length and thickness among different varieties have not reached95%significance level, and only the total number of spikes have reached90%significance level.3. By extraction separation and identification the active ingredient of oleifera cake of Xianglin Camellia series,5monomeric compounds were obtained, they are Kaempferol-3-O-{βD-glucopyranosyl-(1-2)-[a-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-6)]-β-D-glucopyranoside}, kaempferol-3-O-{β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-2)[a-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-6)]-β-D-pyranosylglucoside} protocatechuic acid (=3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid), phytolaccin A,(±)-3’,3"-double demethylation Pinoresinol.
