In this thesis,50%tebufenozide water dispersible granule(WDG) formulation was developed. And its quality testing methods as well as their toxicity to plutella xylostella Linnaeus were studied. Then the composition and propotion of various ingredients of50%tebufenozide WDG were identified. The biological activity of this formula was determined by the way of indoor toxicities. The results were as follows:We ultimately determined the50%tebufenozide WDG composition and content by screening on wetting agent, dispersing agent, binder, disintegrating agents and other assistants as well as carriers. The formulation was as follows:tebufenozide ammonium technical(52.63%), wetting agent1:5.6%, dispersant agent2:5.6%, disintegrating agents:polyvinylpyrrolidone16.8%, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose as a binder (1%) and carrier:kaolin (18.37%).Through the research on quality detection method of the formulation, we make sure the active ingredient content of the formula preparation was50.32%, suspension rate was90.45%. Heat storage test results showed that the active ingredient content decomposition rate after heat storage is0.99%, less than1.5%and suspension rate was more than90%. All of this indicated that the preparation has good heat storage stability.The indoor toxicity test of two tebufenozide formulations(10%tebufenozide Suspension Concentrates,50%tebufenozide water dispersible granule was developed by us) against plutella xylostella Linnaeus showed that the biological activity of50%tebufenozide water dispersible granule was no significant different with commercial10%tebufenozide Suspension Concentrates. Both different tebufenozide formulations had strong insecticidal action on plutella xylostella Linnaeus, Their median lethal concentrations were detected following as:0.110mg/L and0.097mg/L respectively for48hours,0.061mg/L and0.053mg/L respectively for72hours.
