The experiment was conducted in the experimental farm of Agricultural University of Hebei in2013-2014. The experimental material is early maturing varieties of white and red No.2, latematuring varieties of Tangshan red adzuki beans.(Supplied by Hebei academy of agriculture andforestry institute of grain and oil crops). The article mainly from phenotypic changes duringdifferent growth period short day induced adzuki beans to study, The physiological indexes ofadzuki beans key enzymes, hormones, CN assimilation, index of photosynthetic characteristicsand DNA contents were analyzed and summarized, Clear the adzuki beans to the Short dayinduced of response, and provide a theoretical basis for high-yield cultivation of Adzuki beans.This research mainly results are as follows:1.The impact on the adzuki bean growth period: Short day treatment can make the plants blossomahead of time, white and red No.2, Tang Shanhong adzuki beans blossom promoting rate were9.38%,39.02%, make plant flowering podding shorter time.2. The influence of the indexes of adzuki bean: Short day treatment makes plant dwarf, branchnumber, main stem section number, leaf number, leaf area index decrease.3. The impact on the adzuki bean physiological indexes: Short day treatment makes the totalchlorophyll and carotenoid decreased, the chlorophyll a/b declined; BP-FP (branch and blossom)can increase the content of branching hormone, SS-FP (emergence-blossom) reduce the contentof flower and pod hormone; short day treatment could increase the POD activity of flower buddifferentiation period, BP-FP (branch and blossom) make the anti oxidase in varying degrees ofpod bearing period rise; reduce the leaf net photosynthetic rate of shading period short daytreatment, relieve the shading, the net photosynthetic rate increased. Comparison of branchingstage and seedling stage, branching stage is more sensitive to the CO2concentration between cells,effect of short day treatment on Gs and Tr is not obvious; Short day treatment can reduce theseedling ratio of CN, where BP-FP (branch and blossom) at anthesis increased the ratio of CN,decreased the CN ratio in the pod stage; Short day treatment can reduce plant seedling leaf DNAconcentration, BP-FP (branch-flower) in the synthesis of branched promote DNA, SS-BP(seedling-Branch) and SS-FP (seedlings flower) were able to inhibit DNA synthesis in theseedling stage to pod.4.The impact of the change of adzuki bean production: Short day treatment can improve theplant’s single pod kernel weight, weight of single stem, single grain number, number of pods per,reduce hundred grain weight. BP-FP (branching to flowering) output is significantly higher thancontrol, and SS-BP and BP-FP and had no effect on output.Short day treatment can shorten the whole growth period of adzuki bean and promotingprecocious. The agronomic traits showed a downward trend, SS-FP and control difference. Shortday treatment can significantly affect the physiological and biochemical indexes of adzuki bean,BP-FP (branch-flowering) key enzymes during flower bud differentiation, hormone levels rise,flowering net photosynthetic rate, C/N ratio rising, yields rise.SS-FP hormone levels drop, podenzyme activity increases, the DNA content is lower, no impact to production.
