Study On Urban Water Saving-garden Construction In North Xinjiang

With the acceleration of urbanization process in china, the investment of all sectors of society inlandscaping is increasing, many cities planting a large area of lawn in order to create a landscape in theshort term, old trees, a variety of non-native plants are heavily used, thus caused lawn fever and tree go intocity phenomenon, the garden plants survival rate declined in some drought and water-shortagecity,especially in northern city of Xinjiang, the cost in landscape construction is rising and wasted. Takentogether, in the process of construction of water-saving landscaping in northern Xinjiang, deviation existsin planning and positioning, landscaping construction concept and technical measures are alsounreasonable.Focusing on the hotspot, this article based on awareness and practice of water-saving urban greenspaces, explore the basic problems exist in the construction of green space in the city, the author’s argumentis combined with the successful case of landscape construction status of typical city in water-shortage cityof northern Xinjiang and other area, proposed some way to advance water-saving technologies in viewof the city green space construction in water conservation problems. The results show that we shouldcontrary to its geographical features and climatic environment characteristics to optimize the arrangementof plants and adopt intelligentized new technology of water saving irrigation to strengthen thecomprehensive utilization of water resources in the construction of water-saving landscaping.At the sametime,in order to expanding modern landscape water system and building water-saving landscape,we needpolicy and economic help from related department, it’s specific construction activities should merge withcorresponding policy mechanism and economic construction to ensure sustainable development of theconstruction of water-saving landscaping in northern city of Xinjiang.
