Cotton is an important strategic material countries, while Xinjiang is China’s major cotton growingareas in Xinjiang cotton production accounts for an increasing proportion of the country, more than half ofthe country. Cotton is the main cash crops in Xinjiang, Xinjiang is a major source of income for farmers.Mechanization of cotton production is the future trend of development, plowing, soil preparation, planting,fight drugs and other sectors have been mechanized, but still need to pick cotton link human involvement.Therefore, to achieve the sustainable development of large-scale cotton industry, cotton harvest shouldmechanization. At present, Xinjiang cotton picker is mainly imported, mainly the United States Deere andCase production levels pick cotton picker spindles, the price of American cotton picker expensive, complexstructure, and high maintenance costs, it is difficult widely. Current domestic cotton picker is stillexperimental development stage, there Shihezi Fushun system developed close cotton picker and the Corpsdeveloped the comb-type cotton picker. Closed-type cotton picker system is developed independent country,over the last few years into the study of theoretical and experimental verification and improvement of themechanism of adequate proof picker cotton picker system received a viable, functional integrity, the netrate of mining, manufacturing low cost; however unified revenue cotton picker impurity rate higher duringtransportation pipelines prone to clogging, seriously affecting the quality of cotton and reduce theefficiency of the cotton picker and scientific progress. Research and optimization of the system thus closingcotton picker wind sending system design has become a pressing problem.To solve the above problem, this paper based on the research of material properties of cotton,tooptimize the design of Airflow system, analyse the flow field and test analysis.The main contents are asfollows:(1) Complention of the research of picking objects’biological and physical propertiesstarting.Established test-bed and complete the picking objects’float test,then determine the critical speed offloating of the picking object.And determine the structure parameters and dynamic parameters of theAirflow system by through theoretical analysis and calculation.(2) Optimization and improved the design of Airflow system.This paper use fully pneumaticconveying model,and reduce mechanical transmission parts,then reduce the destruction of cotton fiber bythe transportation.Besides we determine that the vertical pipe with bell-shaped entrance,then avoid thegeneration of eddy current,and rational ues of the characteristics of gas’ high-speed jet and negativepressure,clear the bolls,cotton stalks and other high density impurities with conveying.(3) Complete theAirflow system’s three-dimensional model by thethree-dinensional mapping software as Solidworks to provide reference to building the Airflowsystem’s test bed and prototype.(4) Dynamic analysis the flow of the Airflow system by Fluent,then improve and optimize the designof Airflow system by analyzing the results.(5) Built Airflow system’s test bench and complete orthogonal.Ultimately determine that when thewind speed is15m/s at the entrance1,25m/s at entrance2and the impurity-roll speed is50-60r/min,Airflow system can be successfully convey Closed-type cotton picker’s picking objects, and clear thebolls,cotton stalks and other high density impurities.This article through theoretical research and test analysis,optimizing the structure design and dynamicparameters to Airflow system.And has been verfied through analysis of flow dynamics and orthogonaltest,the experiments show that the improved system could complete the delivery work efficiency,andremove bolls,cotton stalks and other large impurities timely.
