Xinjiang is China’s the largest commodity cotton production base, it is also the onlylong-staple cotton production base. The cotton acreage and production of Xinjiang rankedfirst for many years in the country, the cotton industry has become a pillar one in Xinjiang, itplays a key role in the economic development, cotton harvest by cotton-picker become theonly way for the development of the cotton industry. Developed cotton-picker withindependent intellectual property rights, it not only technically breaking the foreign monopoly,but also its price is lower than foreign cotton picker, which is conductive to the promotion ofdomestic and wide application. All-harvested cotton picker is one of the representatives, it hasa higher mining net rate, but also has a higher impurity rate, for this situation, the subject tryto use the application of modern design methods to design a impurity system.(1) This paper analyzes the separation system of cotton at home and abroad, knowclearly about the structure and working principle of separation system. The article start fromthe harvesting and features of cotton, analysis of the formation of impurities and separationconditions, and to study the principles and methods of separation of impurities, combinedwith the characteristics of all-harvested cotton picker, design a impurity mode whichcombined mechanical with pneumatic together, and eventually come to purify the overalldesign of the system.(2) In order to study the detached conditions of cotton and impurities, from the start,research the agronomic characteristic of the cotton, and then measure the objects in thephysical characteristics of each component that cotton picker picked, such as the bolls quality,cotton shell quality, the quality of the cotton boll, cotton stalk quality, moisture content of thecotton and the density of the picking objects of each component and so on. Determine theseparameters are in order to estimate the velocity of the material in the gas stream, analysis ofthe motion characteristics of the material in the pipeline, use the mathematical analysismethods, establish the function of speed and run time in the pipeline, lay the basis of study ofthe movement in the pipeline and design of the pipeline.(3) Determine the wind sending system-related parameters, including the amount ofmaterial transport, the amount of conveying air and the pressure loss of the material duringtransportation, etc., and ultimately determine the type of the blower.(4) In accordance with the principles and technical requirements of the mechanicalimpurity system, combined with the characteristics of the cotton picker, select six-cylinderinstitution, and design its main parts and optimize its related parameters; Use Adams softwareanalyzes the vibration of spike roller, on different speed of the spike roller, cotton’sdisplacement, acceleration and speed, determine the optimal speed of the spike roller isbetween300and450r/min. Use the hydraulic transmission instead of mechanicaltransmission, overcome the shortcomings of the mechanical drive, achieve the real-timecontrol of the drum speed, and finally complete the three-dimensional modeling of theall-harvested cotton picker impurity system.
