According to the requirements of the second National Provisional Procedures on Soil Censusand the Heilongjiang Province Provisional Technical Procedures on Forestry Soil Census, theagricultural sector of Jiayin county implemented the soil census for two years and nine months,which began in mid-July,1983and ended in May,1986. Relatively comprehensive testing, analysis,record had been done in the fields of soil type, distribution, fertility conditions by collecting fieldsamples, doing profile and analyzing the results in the lab to give the report on soil census at last.At that time the total area of the arable land in the Jiayin county was618,981mu,accounting for6.12%of all the land across the county.China has been devoted to promoting the technology of fertilization after testing land since2005and a laboratory was specifically set up in2007. The staff of the laboratory evaluated the soilfertility of all the land across the whole county in2010, when the total area of the arable land was1,223,265mu, accounting for12.1%of all the land all over the county, which doubled the figure ofthe second soil census in1984. After the evaluation of soil fertility, we found that great changeshave taken place in the main cultivated land fertility indicators over the span of25years from1985to2010. For example, the soil of high productivity had reduced to18.74%from24.6%in thesecond soil census and the soil of low productivity from16.6%to14.67%; on the contrary, the soilof medium productivity had increased to66.59%compared with the previous figure-58.8%. Aftercomprehensive various index, such a conclusion can be drawn that land fertility is declininggradually from the fact that the areas of medium and low productivity had increased by5.86%after comparing with that of the last soil census.In2005, Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences carried out the Cooperation andJoint Development between the Academy and Counties throughout the province. In2007,"Heilongjiang agricultural science" brand organic and inorganic mixed fertilizer was brought inand good results had been achieved in the process of experiment and demonstration. In2011, moreexperiments were carried out so as to test the effect of this kind of fertilizer on agriculturalproduction and soil physical and chemical properties. The results of the experiments had provedthat this kind of fertilizer can help crops with the absorption of nutrients utilization, increase theproportion of organic matter and improve soil physical and chemical properties. Thus, we shouldbe devoted to applying and promoting this kind of fertilizer to increase the agricultural output.The treatments with organic and inorganic mixed fertilizer has been significantly increasedsoybeab yield from17.96%to21.26%.The results showed that:"Heilongjiang agricultural science"brand organic and inorganic mixed fertilizer can improve soybean growth and increase soybeanproduction.After using the organic and inorganic compound fertilizer, the available nitrogen in the soilcomes into effect relatively faster in the beginning, but with the passage of time, its release quantity has remained at a fairly stable level.The rule of releasing available phosphorus and available potassium in the soil, is relativelystable at first, while with the passage of time, the amount of release is bound to have smallfluctuations, which reaches the top at the fruiting period.Taking into account that the organic and inorganic compound fertilizer has the ability toimprove plant growth, increase soybean production, and enrich soil, we should vigorously promoteits application under the current condition of production system in Jiayin County.
