Based on excellent powder feed formula, this research was designed to study the effects ofdifferent feed processing technology on production performance and nutrient digestion in mink. Animalnutritional indicators and production performance were measured and analyzed in search for theoptimum dietary protein levels of pellet.Text1: Effect of different processing technology and levels protein of pellet on productionperformance and nutrient digestibility in growing mink.Eighty healthy males at the age of70±3days were randomly assigned into four groups with twentyreplicates, per group and one mink per replicate in Institute of special animal and plant sciences ofCAAS. The growing period of feeding experiments, The control group was fed a dry-powder, Minkfrom three groups were fed grain of the different levels protein with groupⅠ (34%protein), group Ⅱ(36%protein), group Ⅲ(32%protein).The results were as follows: Between the77~105days of age, there was no significant differenceon body weight between groups (P>0.05). Between the105~119days of age, body weight of group Ⅲwere greatly significantly lower than those of groups Ⅰ、Ⅱ (P<0.05),but there was no significantdifference between groupⅠ and group Ⅱ(P>0.05). On119d, body weight of group Ⅲwere greatlysignificantly lower than those of groups Ⅰ、 Ⅱ (P<0.05),but there was no significant differencebetween groupⅠ and group Ⅱ (P>0.05). On133d, body weight in group Ⅰwas significantly higherthan groupⅡ、Ⅲ (P<0.01), but there was no significant difference on body weight between group ⅡandⅢ (P>0.05). The digestibilityof DM in group Ⅰ was greatly significantly higher than that of groupⅢ(P>0.01), and that of group Ⅰ was significantly higher than that of group Ⅱ(P>0.05). The digestibilityof protein in groupⅠ and group Ⅱ was no significant difference (P>0.05), and thatof group Ⅰandgroup Ⅱ was significantly higher than group Ⅲ (P<0.01), but groupⅡ、Ⅲ was no significant difference(P>0.05). There is no significant difference in fat digestibility. The results were as follows: the pellet of34%levels protein was significantly higher than the pellet of32%and36%levels protein on productionperformance and nutrient digestion. The experiment results: There no significant difference the dry powder group and the pellet groupof mink on production performance and nutrient digestion. The pellet can replace the dry powder ofmink with the rearing period. The pellet of34%levels protein was significantly higher than the pellet of32%and36%levels protein on production performance and nutrient digestion.Text2: Effect of different levels protein of pellet on production performance and fur qualitygrowing-furing mink.Minks were fed pellet of the different levels protein with group Ⅰ (32%protein)、group Ⅱ(34%protein)、group Ⅲ (30%protein)at winter hair period To effect of different levels protein of pellet onproduction performance and fur quality by mink with the feeding and slaughter experiment method. Theresults showed as follows: During154-182d, the mink weight in group Ⅰwas significantly higher than groupⅡ、 Ⅲ (P<0.01),groupⅡ and group Ⅲwas no significant difference (P>0.05). On196d, There isno significant difference in body weight (P>0.05). The feed gain and the digestibility of dry matter、protein also take place in body weight (P>0.05). The digestibility of fat in groupⅠ and groupⅡ was nosignificant difference (P>0.05), group Ⅰ was significantly higher than group Ⅲ (P<0.05),group Ⅱandgroup Ⅲ was no significant difference (P>0.05). The digestibility of Ash in group Ⅰ and group Ⅱwasno significant difference (P>0.05), groupⅠ was significantly higher than group Ⅲ (P<0.01),groupⅡand group Ⅲwas no significant difference(P>0.05).There were no significant difference in nitrogen intake, fecal nitrogen and the urinenitrogen(P>0.05). The nitrogen deposition in groupⅠ was significantly lower than group Ⅱ(P<0.01),but it was significantly higher than group Ⅲ (P<0.05), and that of group Ⅱwas significantly higherthan group Ⅲ (P<0.01); The biological value of protein in group Ⅱwas significantly higher thangroupⅠ、 Ⅲ (P<0.01),group Ⅰ and group Ⅲwas no significant difference (P>0.05). The net proteinutilization in groupⅡ was significantly higher than groupⅠ、Ⅲ (P<0.01),group Ⅰ and group Ⅲwas nosignificant difference (P>0.05). There is no significant difference among each group of guard fur length, under fur length, body length and fur length (P>0.05).The fresh fur weight in group Ⅰ and groupⅢwere significantly higher than group Ⅱ (P<0.01), group Ⅰ and group Ⅲwas no significant difference(P>0.05).The G/U in groupⅠ、groupⅡ、group Ⅲ wereno significant difference (P>0.05).Through the experiment with the winter hair period of mink shows: The optimum granule dietaryprotein levels in growing-furing period was approximate32%.
