With cultivar CCRI 79 and Sikang 1 as material, in 2012 and 2013 respectively in Dafeng Rice and Wheat Farm in Jiangsu province to moderate the severity of salinity for emergence and growth of cotton cultivation methods (high ridge with mulching, high ridge without mulching, spraying krilium in saline-alkali soil, spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching, spraying krilium with high-ridge and non-mulching, and traditional shallow seeding under mulching as the control) and nitrogen fertilizer (nitrogen 0,112.5,225 and 337.5 kg/hm2) and other research techniques. The results are as follows:1. The planting method of high ridge and mulching and spraying krilium can improve cotton yield compared with traditional shallow seeding under mulching. The yield of spraying krilium with high-ridge and mulching was increased 32.0-113.8% compared to the control. Under the planting method of spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching and high ridge with mulching, with different treatment by Nitrogen fertilizer, Nitrogen per hectare 112.5kg to handle the highest yield, seed cotton yield reached 4031.89kg/hm2 and 3585.57kg/hm2, with further increase of nitrogen yield downward trend is showed.2. Rational planting methods can significantly reduce the soil Salinity of saline-alkali. The treatments of spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching and high ridge with mulching to reduce salinity maximun, decreased by 42.07% and 38.78% respectively. Meanwhile emergence rate increased by 148.8%å'Œ125.9% compared to the control. Rational planting method has a benefit for growth development of cotton, particularly spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching had higher plant height and leaves numbers, fruit branches nodes’ decreased; under two kinds of spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching and high ridge with mulching, with nitrogen quantity increase the cotton plant height, leaves numbers increase, individual plant the numbers of squares and boll numbers both of them increased,.3. The different processed planting methods of dried accumulated matters and Nitrogen phosphorus and potassium (NPK) absorption compared under high maturity period, moreover the two methods of high process spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching and spraying krilium differentiate in comparison 31.16%,45.60%,67.94,51.23% and 32.01%,31.89%,42.23%, 39.01%. Under the two methods of spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching and high ridge with mulching, with different application of nitrogen amount under 112.5Kg per hectare, the NPK accumulation in the dry matter was the highest, the accumulation reached respectively 5997.21 kg/hm2,146.26 kg/hm2,37.11 kg/hm2,292.56 kg/hm2 and 6233.98 kg/hm2,160.38 kg/hm2,38.68 kg/hm2,328.64 kg/hm2. With further nitrogen amount increase in the amount of dry matter and NPK accumulation amount of nitrogen decreased.4. The planting method of high ridge and mulching and spraying krilium can effectively prevent the solubility of leaves sugar, malondialdehyde (MDA) and Proline accumulation, make cotton body superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) activity at a low level, while improving the chlorophyll and ascorbic acid (AsA) content. Where the two planting methods of high process spraying krilium with both high-ridge and mulching and spraying krilium whole of them in the whole growing period have MDA, SOD, POD, soluble sugar and praline content were lower than other treatments, and chlorophyll content and AsA higher than other treatments.
