In the production of hybrid rice, pollination is a key link, which is not only directly related to the yield and quality of hybrid rice, but also related to the fuether development of hybrid rice technology. The traditional pollination way, hand assisted pollination which is labor intensive, low productive seriously restricted the development of hybrid rice seed production industry. So it is of great significance to the development of hybrid rice production to study on polliation technology and invent polliation machine which works efficiency and has good effect as well as good adaptability.In the stage of theory, the research mainly aims at the theory analysis of the airflow generated by the fan in the experiment polliation models is built, kinematics and the energy method were used to discuss the movement of pollens in two different ways to get the distribution characteristic of the pollens. In the test stage, asingle factor experiment was carried out on the katabatic flow velocity, flow height, fan speed to get the influence law of every factor on pollens distribution. On basis of sigle factor test, a multi factors orthogonal test that chose effective area ratio, average pollen density and non-uniformy of pollens distributions as three valuation index is carried out to comprehensive analysis the influence of every single factor on pollens distribution, established the regression equation, carry oue parameters optimization, and find out the best combination.The paper designs a katabatic flow pollination device, carried out single factor and multi factor experiment, using2horizontal ang1vertical sampling board to collect test datas. Vertical sampling is mainly used to check the movement of pollens along the airflow, the horizontal sampling is used to describe the distribution of pollens, combine those two spect as experimental basis. This paper uses Excel for data processing and to map the total pollem diagram; drawing pollen distribution of three-dimensional and pollen distribution contour map by using Matlab; SPSS was used to design multi factors orthogonal test and establish corresponding regression equations which were use to verification the result. This paper provide theorical and experimental basis for developing katabatic flow pollination device and further study on the mechanism of the katabatic flow pollination, greatly promote the progress of industrialization and scale mamufacture...
