China is a large agricultural country, the issues of agriculture, rural areas and farmers are being given the first priority by government. As the development of agricultural mechanization, the grain harvesting mechanization also needs to be perfect and improved in technology. Nowadays the harvest of grain mainly depends on combine –harvester, and the thresher equipment is an indispensable part in combine-harvester by taking charge of the mission of threshing. Therefore, it is necessary to have systematic analysis and research on the key parts of the combine’s thresher equipment.We do some theoretic analysis and optimization design to the unit with tooth of combine on its aspects of threshing character, arrange of tooth, balance of rotating and vibration modal,which aims at exploring the regularities of tooth distribution, and analyzing the vibration frequency of roller and the equilibrium character, and further improving the efficiency of threshing and optimizing the structure to adapt to the working of machine.To get the expected construction, this paper is divided into four parts to research. First, we analyze the characteristics of grain and collision, and then create the mechanics models of the collision of grain and tooth, and to get the limiting speed of collision. Second, we make optimization design on the structures of roller and tooth by establishing the mathematical model and mathematical theory, to find out the relationship between the ability of threshing and the characteristics of tooth. Third, we make an analysis and optimization of balance with the help of ADAMS by combining the mathematical model of the operation and the analysis of operation condition. At last, aimed at the structure strength and resonance, through ANSYS we make strength analysis and modal analysis, and finds out the weakness of strength and the biggest rate which effected at different step mode. Through the discussion and analysis of the above four aspects, this paper establishes better theory about threshing roller device, and provides complete theoretical basis and solutions to the manufacture and optimization of thresher machine.
