The experiment was carried in Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang in 2014,the choice of suitable mechanical harvesting varieties Xinluzao 32 and Xinluzao 57 as tested material, set up two wide and narrow row spacing patterns(66+10cm, 72+4cm) for treatment, effect of row spacing pattern on machin-havested cotton growth,yield components,canopy structure,photosynthetic characteristics,fiber quality and machine-harvested quality,selection of suitable machine-harvested cotton row spacing pattern,providing a theoretical basis and data support, The main results are as follows:1、To identify the effect of row spacing pattern on the machine-harvested cotton growth and photosynthetic material production. 72 + 4 mode because much mulch cover, large area lighting, ground temperature is high,conducive to the growth of cotton seedling stage,showed the cotton growth, for budding early performance, flowering and boll opening late, relatively prolonged growth period; The mode of 66 + 10 to plant height, leaf as the foundation,form more dry matter, and improve air and light groups, increase the proportion of peripheral boll, which will help the growth of the cotton late,performance for bud late, flowering and boll opening early growth period is relatively short.2、To clear row spacing pattern on the machine-harvested cotton canopy structure and photosynthetic characteristics.
