Experiment was carried out in the liuhudi town in Manasi County in 2015. There was three kinds growth vigour cotton: steady cotton, prosperous cotton and early-senescent cotton.The characteristics of growth and development and nutrient accumulation of distribution relations of cotton were studied under the natural conditions, providing theoretical basis for high yield of northern Xinjiang machine–harvested cotton cultivation. Main test results were as follows:1. The growth period of steady, prosperous cotton and early-senescent cotton were118 days, 122 days and 110 days respectively, the daily increase amount of the main stem before flower were 1.22 cm/d,1.53 cm/d, 1.02 cm/d, leaf emergence speed were 4.26 d/piece, 6.98 d/ piece, 7.51 d/piece, budding strength were 0.43 a/d, 0.22a/d, 0.15 a/d, bell intensity were 0.75a/d, 0.66 a/d, 0.56 a/d; The plant height of Steady cotton in multi-topping before flower was 70 cm- 75 cm. The main body boll of Xin lu zao 57 steady cotton was Fu Tao, accounting for 86% of the total and the inside bell was 71.33% of the total, boll in the middle section were 66.67%, 52.36% and 33.33% respectively..2. The LAI of steady cotton falling slowly in late growth, 22.33% and 45.37% higher than that of prosperous cotton and early-senescent cotton. LAI of steady cotton in each growth period should be: 3 leaf stage: 0.33, budding: 1.12, flower :2.47, full blossom :3.80, boll period :4.50, boll opening period: 3.85 respectively.Average MTA of steady cotton reached a peak of 62 °at boll period. Pn of steady cotton was 11.57?mol·m-2·s-1, 38.23% and 119.54% higher than that of prosperous cotton and early-senescent cotton respectively. Transpiration rate of 5.37 mmol·m-2·s-1, the stomatal conductance of 784 mmol·m-2·s-1; Ci gradually increased in budding period, fallen after the flowers and then raise up.3. The photosynthesis product and it's distribution of steady and early-senescent cotton to stem and leaf increased after budding,reached the peak in boll period, the leaf area fluid loads of steady, prosperous cotton and early-senescent cotton were 27.16 m-2,20.16 m-2, 20.08 m-2 respectively. The leaf area fruit section loads of steady cotton should maintain at about 85 m-2. Leaf area load reproductive organs dry weight of steady, prosperous and early-senescent cotton cotton were 0.32 kg ·m-2, 0.28 kg ·m-2, 0.21 kg ·m-2.4. The N, P2O5, K2 O accumulation in the stem and leaf of steady cotton reached peak at flower stage. The overall trend of boll Accumulation was consistent with the stem and leaf, but different in the peak of accumulation, accumulation of N, P2O5, K2 O to boll reached peak in boll period, and the accumulation amount was: boll > leaf > stem. The N, P2O5, K2 O rapid accumulation period of different growth vigours cotton were 35-68 d, 43-69 d, 41-67 d after germination respectively.
