Xinjiang has become China's most important cotton production base,with large-scale production and high-yield conditions and potential.With the rapid development of social economy,the sharp rise in labor prices,artificial harvest cotton will certainly constrain the sustainable development of cotton industry in Xinjiang,Xinjiang cotton industry must be high efficiency,high level of mechanized harvest.Therefore,to carry out innovation suitable for cotton mechanized harvesting mode of cultivation is an urgent need to solve the problem of cotton production.In this study,two different planting patterns were used to analyze the relationship between the row spacing(66+10)cm mode and the row spacing(72+4)cm mode and the row spacing(66+10)cm and the row spacing(76+76)cm planting pattern and the growth and development of cotton,and the difference of mechanical harvesting effect between different planting patterns was clarified,which provided the theoretical basis for the improvement of high efficiency production technology.The main findings are as follows:1.The planting pattern has an important effect on the growth and development of cotton.The appropriate planting pattern accelerates the growth process of cotton,which is beneficial to the individual growth and development of cotton plants.comparison the row spacing(66+10)cm and the spacing(72+4)cm,(72+4)cm was slower than that in the early stage(66+10)cm,and the plant height and growth period was lower than that of(72+4)cm.comparison(66+10)cm mode and row spacing(76+76)cm mode,(66+10)cm model,the dry matter accumulation was large,and the group had good ventilation and the growth period was shorter than(66+10)cm.2.Planting patterns have an important effect on cotton Photosynthetic Function and high light canopy.The leaf area index and canopy distribution of the appropriate planting patterns have a more scientific and reasonable spatial distribution in the whole growth period.The leaf area index row spacing of(66+10)cm mode was significantly higher than(72+4)cm,and the peak value was higher 0.19 than(72+4)cm mode,Slowly down in the late growth period.(66+10)cm model was higher than that of(72+4)cm in Photosynthetic Function in early stage,and the model was more ventilation and penetrating light than(72+10)cm in later stage.Compared with the(66+10)cm model and(76+76)cm,the canopy structure formed in the(76 + 76)cm mode is more favorable for the later stage Translucent light,so that more leaves to light,so as to promote the net photosynthetic rate of leaves strong,but due to speed up the growth process,in the late photosynthetic rate decreased faster.3.The effect of planting pattern on cotton yield,quality and Machine-harvested effect was clear.In the comparison(72+4)cm,due to the narrower became narrowing and the increase of field shade in the middle and late period,the air circulation is affected,and the competition among individuals is intensified,and in terms of harvesting effect is poor than(66+10)cm,and the yield was lower than(66+10)cm.In the comparison row spacing(76+76)cm mode,due to the two lines turn into one line,is conducive to cotton late fertility and light transmission,making more leaves can get light,space become larger,leaves more easily fall off,Hanging cotton less,but because the narrow line to a single line,the drop rate has improved.Yield was higher than(66+10)cm.
