| Gall wasps induce galls on the important resource plant, such as Asteraceae, Fagaceae, Papaveraceae, Rosaceae, Lamiaceae, Aceraceae and so on. Cynipidae larvae lives in completely enclosed galls, intercepts efficiently nutritions and damages seriously to the host plant, so it is a common agriculture and forestry pests. Prevention and control of pests is very difficult because of extremely concealed property and long time to damage. For a long time, specimens is not easy to acquire in the field(often need through raising gall in the room), and the biological and morphological variation of the different generation individual is distinct, and the body is relatively small, therefore, the insect classification is relatively difficulty. At present, the research on this kind of insect taxonomy is very weak, especially the research on the classification of the uncertain genus and species is a worldwide problem. The uncertain genus and species of the Cynipidae are first reviewed in this paper. We record the history of classification of this family and the research progress in China and sort part uncertain genus and species comprehensively and systematically. Totally 600 speciemens examined were from rearing host galls in lab. and nest collection. Based on the host plant, galls and insect morphology, we reported 32 species of 2 tribes and 10 genus belonging to Cynipidae, 3 genus and 7 species were firstly recorded from China, 2 new combination, 2 new genus and 10 new species to science were actually identified in this research. All species were described in detail. In addition, We also provided an illustrated key to tribe, genera and species of the China. All type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection, Zhejiang Agricultural and Forest University, Lin’an, China. The new taxons are lised as follows:New genera: Syneridiastrophus gen. nov.; Pseudantistrophus gen. nov..New record: Diastrophus Hartig, 1840; Phanacis Forster, 1860; Periclistus Forster, 1869.New species: Aulacidea xinjiangensis sp. nov.; Syneridiastrophus emeishanensis sp. nov.; Pseudantistrophus bolensis sp. nov.; Saphonecrus albidus sp. nov.; Saphonecrus guoruii sp. nov.; Saphonecrus yulongxueshanensis sp. nov.; Synergus luanchuanensis sp. nov.; Synergus amabilis sp. nov.; Ufo rufiventris sp. nov.; Periclistus qinghaiensis sp. nov..New record: Phanacis phoenixopodos(Mayr, 1882); Saphonecrus shirokashicola(Shinji), 2012; Synergus jezoensis Uchida and Sakagami, 1948; Synergus gallaepomiformis(Boyer Fonscolombe, 1832); Synergus pallipes Harting, 1840; Periclistus quinlani Taketani & Yasumatsu, 1973.New combination: Diastrophus setosus(Wang, Liu & Chen), 2012 comb. nov. and Diastrophus distinctus(Wang, Liu & Chen), 2012 comb. nov.. |
