In this experiment, the progeny test plantation of 30-year-old hybrid larch were researched from Qingshan forest farm in Linkou county in Heilongjiang province,measured height, diameter, carbon content, wood density, hemicellulose content, cellulose content and lignin content and calculated single strain stumpage volume, biomass and carbon stocks. Estimated the coefficient of variation for each trait, analyzed differences and correlations and done multiple comparisons by Spassl8 software, which filtered out excellent hybrid pedigree of high carbon content and carbon reserves as the materials for creating plantation of high quality carbon reserves.The family was rich in genetic variation. Rich genetic variation existed between volume, biomass and carbon stocks among the different families. The coefficient of variation among the largest volume was 49.26%, a mean of 21.77%, biomass up to 55.40% coefficient of variation of the mean of 25.81%, the largest carbon storage in the coefficient of variation was 65.46%, a mean of 28.24%, while the tree height, diameter, carbonaceous mutation rate, cellulose content, hemicellulose content, lignin content, and other indicators of basic density is relatively small, respectively,6.53%,9.07%,9.90%,3.78%,7.06%,4.04%,7.78%.Correlation analysis of traits. The correlation between the carbon content of the parse tree’various organs was highly significant positive. The correlation between the carbon content of the root and bark was maximum,the correlation coefficient was 0.986, the correlation between the carbon content of the various organs of the parse tree and the total carbon content was significantly positive related, where the correlation between trunk’and total carbon content was maximum, the correlation coefficient was 0.995, the correlation between the growth traits and carbon content was not significantly positive; the correlation between carbon content and hemicellulose content, basic density was not significant, correlation between carbon content and cellulose content was significantly negative, which the largest correlation coefficient between bark carbon content and cellulose content was-0.357, the correlation between carbon content and lignin content was significant negative correlation, but the correlation between trunk carbon content and lignin content was insignificant negative; The correlation between the carbon stocks of the parse tree’various organs was highly significant positive.The correlation between the trunk’and total carbon stocks was maximum.the correlation coefficient was 0.868, the correlation between the carbon stocks of the parse tree’various organs and total carbon stocks was highly significant positive, the correlation between trunk carbon stocks and total carbon stocks was maximum, the correlation coefficient was 0.968. Between carbon stocks and growth traits were significantly positively correlated, the correlation coefficient between trunk carbon stocks and volume was the largest, the correlation coefficient was 0.885. The correlation between carbon stocks and hemicellulose content,cellulose content was not significant, the correlation between the trunk, the aboveground,total carbon stocks and lignin content was significantly negative, and the correlation coefficients were-0.28,-0.285,-0.295, the correlation between carbon stocks and basic density correlation is not significant.The correlation between the carbon content and carbon stocks of the parse tree’various organs was highly significant positive highly significant, the correlation between carbon content of various organs of parse wooden pedigree and total carbon stocks was highly significantly positive, the correlation between the trunk carbon content and the total carbon content was the largest and the correlation coefficient was 0.408, the correlation between carbon stocks of various organs of parse wooden pedigree and the total carbon content was highly significantly positive, the correlation between trunk carbon stocks and the total carbon content was the largest and the correlation coefficient was 0.329, it was a significant positive correlation between the total carbon content and aboveground,total carbon stocks and the correlation coefficients were 0.389,0.427.Excellent pedigree gain significantly. The three families were selected for high-quality hybrid pedigree of high carbon sequestration:Jl 1×X8, J5×S51, J3×X8, carbon stocks were 62.17 kg,60.72 kg,60.18kg, the average value of the three families’carbon stocks exceed the mean of all families’were 14.388%,11.720%,10.727%.
