Valuation On Forest Ecosystem Services In Baishuijiang National Nature Reserve

At present, the research that domestic and foreign scholars on forest ecosystem services valuation value were very extensive, and it has become one of the hotspots of environmental economics research. Forest ecosystem service is formed by means of forest ecosystems, ecological processes and the maintaining of natural environment and utility which maintain human life to the survival.In this study, building a evaluation system suitable for ecosystem services of the forests in Baishuijiang nature reserve was established according to inventory data, authoritative public data of national release and literature of Baishuijing National Nature Reserve. the ecosystem service value of forests in Baishuijiang forest zone was valuated using the market value method, alternative cost method, and so on.The results show that: The total value of ecosystem services of forest in Baishuijiang Nature reserve is 6.729 billion Yuan, the forest stumpage value is 2.94 × 108 Yuan, water conservation value is 32.92 × 108 Yuan, soil conservation value is 22.25 × 108 Yuan, carbon fixation oxygen release value is 0.68 × 108 Yuan, air purification value is 0.3 × 108 Yuan, biodiversity conservation value is 8.2 × 108 Yuan. The sort of these six major service value is that: water conservation value> soil conservation value> biodiversity value> Forest stumpage value> carbon sequestration and oxygen release value> value of clean air. Water conservation value and soil conservation value accounte for the largest proportion, and its function is reflected in these two aspects. So we should strengthen efforts particularly in these two aspects when we implement protective measures specifically.This study analyzed and discussed the total value and the individual value and the reason about forest ecosystem services of Baishuijiang nature reserve, pointing out the deficiency of management and development about forest ecosystems of nature reserve, putting forward countermeasures and suggestions about construction and development of nature reserve. The specific measures and recommendations reflected in the faultiness about related laws and regulations of management and protection of nature reserve, planning eco-tourism scientifically,perfect the operating mechanism of eco-compensation, strengthening cognition about the atatus of water conservation forest and water conservation forest of nature reserve, setting up ecological station efficiently to monitor the change of plant resources and environment in the area.
