The flower of rhododendron is gorgeous, which is suitable for pot culture and field culture. It is one of the top ten traditional famous flowers in China. It has a very high application value in terms of ornamental and landscape. R.siderophyllum Franch is one of the dominant species in the forest communities in Wudang ten thousand Mu R. forest. It plays an important role in R. forest, however the research about mycorrhizal infection rate,ERM fungal diversity, efficient strains filtration and inoculation effect are not yet clear. By using the method of alkali solution from the acid fuchsin staining, this study mainly analyzes the microscopic structure, isolation, molecular identification and diversity of mycorrhizal of R. siderophyllum Franch. The results are as follows:1. R.siderophyllum Franch mycorrhizal mycelium morphology can be divided into two class: thick mycelium(diameter of 2~6μm) and bacterial filaments(diameter of 1~2 μm). There are five types of thick mycelium and six types of bacterial filaments; The rate of R.siderophyllum Franch colonization in the uphil slope is significantly higher than that of downhill slope and midslope, also the midslope is significantly higher than that of downhill slope. The infection rate has positively correlation with total nitrogen, hydrolyzable nitrogen in rhizosphere soil, SOC, humus layer thickness, but have negatively correlation with soil p H, total potassium. The seasonal variation of the infection rate is that spring is higher summer, summer is higher than autumn, winter is lowest. The difference in summer and winter is not significant, but winter is significantly lower than that in summer and autumn.2. The most mycorrhizal fungi isolated from R.siderophyllum Franch belongs to helotialesn, leotiomycetes, inculding 6 strains, in which 2 Cryptosporiopsis ericae strains belongs to Dermateaceae. Also there 5 strains belongs to Oidiodendron and 2 sordariomycetes and Hypocreales fungi and 1 Umbelopsis vinacea(Zygomycota, Zygomycetes, Mucorales, Mucoraceae,Umbelopsis). Excepting bacteria strains XY13,XY14 is not clear and the strain XY6 is combined fungi, the rest are ascomycetous fungi.3. The Helotiales fungi is the largest species in terms of the richness of mycorrhizal species for R. siderophyllum Franch,in a total of 6 strains, followed the byoidiodendron,in a total of 5 strains of, then the hypocreales fungi,in a total of 4 strains of fung. The left species are less rich. Seeing from the point of frequency separation, the isolation rate of Hypocreales fungal is 52.49%, which is dominant in R. siderophyllum Franch Mycorrhizal Fungi Community on quantity, the isolation rate of oidiodendron is 36.02%, which is the main population of R. siderophyllum Franch mycorrhizal fungi.
