Therefore, it is very important to set up the information management platform of organic farm standardized cultivation.China started late on the application of information technology in the agriculture field, but she is making rapid progress. Now, Chinese agricultural informationization mainly concentrated on the modern agricultural logistics, internet of things of agriculture, traceability system of quality and safety of agricultural products, etc. However, the application of information on the effective management of organic farm is rare.This paper puts forward the idea of building information management platform of organic farm standardized cultivation, mainly by reviewing the literature, and combining with farming characteristic and needs of market in cities. This platform is mainly used in the management of organic farms with functions as follow:1) improving business processes, linking all aspects of the supply chain and making the management can be copied;2) Establishing timely data sharing system and realizing efficient management of the whole process in farming;3) Realizing the control of key points and improving operational efficiency by using the information management platform;4) Assisting the management in mastering the cost, profit, sale, etc, with the help of real-time and precise report and analytic systems;5)Realizing the traceability system of quality and safety of agricultural products of the whole process in order to ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products.Shortcomings were found in the ideas of construction of the information management platform through the application in organic farm. Especially the soft clauses, such as how to enhance the biodiversity and set up a good organic ecosystem are not fully described. All of them are the future direction for the information management platform to improve.
