Maize is the most important diverse crops which can be used as food, forage and energy. It has become the largest area planted and the highest yield in total output of the grain crop in China till 2012. Along with the development of the social economy and the improvement of people’s living level, the demand for meat and dairy food has been growing. The adjustment of animal husbandry industrial structure results in the change of crop planting structure, and the planting area of silage maize is expanding gradually. However, the silage corn varieties approved by the government has been decreased year by year after the replacement of silage control variety since the year of 2007. How to select and identify the elite hybridization that could be suitable as a silage corn to participate in the regional trials of the national silage corn varieties has become a new challenge to every maize breeding units. The trail data of the new regional silage corn tests through 2007 to 2013, as well as the identifying tests conducting in the Sichuan Agricultural University were analyzed in this study with GGE biplot method, an analyzing tool which could analyze the main characters of control variety used in the national silage maize regional tests, evaluate the tested combination, continuous tested hybridization. The results are as following:1. The releasing rate of silage corn with governmental licenses is decreasing recently result mostly from the varieties of high biological yield and the increasing national standards. Yayuqingzhu 26 and Yayuqingzhu 8 always showed high stability and adaptability in the different ecological areas. The mass yield of the average yield is 22.5 t/ha (Yayuqingzhu 26),18.6 t/ha (Yayuqingzhu 8th),14.7 t/ha (Yayuqingzhu 8th) in the northern, middle and southern China in the multi-year and multi-location demonstration for several years. The two reference substances are antibody sport disease, leaf blight and corn smut with general nutrition quality. Two silage maize CK the quality properties of the variety of responses to the environment is different, but the laws are relatively consistent, the performance acid detergent fiber content is sensitive responses to the environment, the coefficient of variation of about 17.5%, neutral detergent fiber times, about half of the former, and crude protein content of environment become unresponsive, the variation coefficient of crude protein content in Yayuqingzhu 26 is only 4%.2. The total number of passing the national validation or being in the continuous trial of silage maize combination had 16 in 89 new silage maize varieties to participate in the regional test of the new silage corn varieties in 2007-2013.Excluding 4 combinations which entered Agricultural University 108 by 2006 the trial continued, only 6 new combinations were examined and approved by the regional test of the new silage corn varieties that 12 combinations were approved or entered into the pilot test by the state. GGE biplot analysis of pass the national validation or into the continuous trial of 12 combinations of main characters show that:The biological dry weight is closely related to the growth period, correlation with plant height, ear height is also very strong, but with the lodging rate, lodging rate was negatively correlated. The quality of the silage corn was superior to that of the silage corn, and the resistance to the pest was almost higher than that of the silage maize to approved or entered into the pilot test by the state.3. The growth dynamic of the new hybridization of silage corn in the screening tests shows:the growing potential of silage maize in the seedling stage was influenced by cultivation measures. The growth potential of silage maize was closely related to the parent source, while the relationship was not close between plant height and ear height with seedling growth potential. The crosses with higher dry matter yield and better stability were Q05, Q02, Q08, Q06, Q01 and Q09, the crosses with higher grain yield and better stability were Q09, Q02, Q08 and Q03, the better combination of comprehensive performance were Q02, Q08 and Q06 by GGE biplot analysis of 19 new silage maize combination of Sichuan Agricultural University. Q02 and Q09 have the same male parent YA8201, further proved that the parent plays a very important role in breeding.
