Forest Resources Status And Management Planning Of Simianshan Forest Farm

This study was a forest resources status analysis and a ten-year period management planning for Simianshan forest farm which based on the forest resources survey achievements data natural environment socio-economic conditions and current forest resources status of Simianshan.The main results were as follows:The regeneration scale in this management period were 468.25hm2.Among them, the cutting sites rgeneration planting area were 154.6hm2.Open forestland, forest clearings along scenic roads and bald woodland planting area were 313.65hm2.Planning new forests 154.6hm2, tending twice a year within three years after planting, tending once a year in fourth and fifth years after planting, thus tending young forests area totaling 1236.8hm2 in this management period.Planning Tending Thinning area 1681.61hm2 in this management period, of which the first five years 857.99hm2, the next five years 823.62hm2.The total area of closed forest project planning was 1698.38hm2 in this management period.Of which the first five years 889.14hm2, the average annual 177.828hm2.The next five years 809.24hm2, the average annual 161.848hm2.Planning forest harvesting cumulation 53020m3.Among them,the forest blet harvesting cumulation 26860m3,Tending Thinning cumulation 26160m3.The first five years forest harvesting cumulation 13910m3,the average annual cumulation 2782m3.The next five years forest harvesting cumulation 12950m3.The first five years Tendig Thinning cumulation 14570m3, the average annual cumulation 2914m3.The next five years Tendig Thinning cumulation 11590m3.Planning selective cutting area of bamboo forest 165.99hm2.Among them, the first five years selective cutting bamboo area 91.29hm2,planning selective cutting area 18.26hm2 per year.Planning selective cutting bamboo 74.7hm2 the next five years.Planning selective cutting Bamboo weights 212 tons.
