Application Of GIS In The Planning Of Forest Management Program

This paper takes Yangxi State-owned Forest Farm in Jixi County,Xuancheng City,Anhui Province as the research object,and uses GIS from the second-class survey data of forest resources in Yangxi State-owned Forest Farm(2012-2015)and its supplementary survey data and the DEM elevation data of Yangxi Forest Farm.The technology analyzes and evaluates the quality grade of forest land and the setting of forest roads.On this basis,it carries out scientific and rational planning of forest cultivation,forestry infrastructure,management policy and ecological function in the forest management plan.The theory and method of providing scientific and rational forest management plan for state-owned forest farms is of great practical significance for scientifically carrying out forest management work in state-owned forest farms,accurately improving forest quality,and establishing a healthy,stable,high-quality and efficient forest ecosystem.The results show:(1)The total operating area of Yangxi State-owned Forest Farm is 3657.4hm2,the Grade Ⅱ forest land is 715.5hm2,accounting for 19.6%of the total area,the Grade III forest land is 2593.2hm2,accounting for 70.9%of the total area,and the Grade IV forest area is 348.7hm2,accounting for The total area is 9.5%,and the forest land quality of the forest farm is the main grade of the forest land.The relationship between the forest land quality and the forest growth is analyzed,and the targeted forest cultivation plan is proposed.(2)The length of Yangxi State-owned Forest Farm is 54.6km,the density of road network is 1.49km/km2,and the buffer zone accounts for 31.6%of the total forest area.The road conditions are poor and the accessibility is low.Most small-scale farms are difficult to operate.In the current managerial period,road construction should be vigorously carried out.(3)According to the ecological location of forest farms,the characteristics of forest resources,the status of infrastructure,the existing forest management status and existing problems of forest farms,and considering the new situation of forestry development mode after the reform of state-owned forest farms from wood production to ecological restoration and construction,Forest management policy and ecological function zoning of Yangxi State-owned Forest Farm.
