Cyathula Officinalis Kuan High-throughput Genome Sequencing And Preliminary Data Analysis

Cyathula officinalis Kuan is one of traditional chinese herbs and theonly one of cultivars of Amaranthaceae in china, which have been widely planted and well developed. Like ther raditional chinese herbs, some more deeper studies are urgently need to explore in Cyathula officinalis Kuan, apart from chemical and activity analysis.As one of main techniques of genomics, the next generation sequence(NGS) has been widely applied in crop research but rarely in herbs include of Cyathula officinalis Kuan. Because it is money-wasteful for the biggest developing country which has more than ten thousand herbs.In this thesis, a new data analysis method has been proposed base on a simple, economic NGS and compared the different influence between new method and conventional methods. Moreover, some genes that may control Cyasterone synthesis are be point out.
