Lack of high quality white maize varieties restricts the development of white maize production seriously in China,so,system research of yield heterosis and combining ability in new maize inbred lines with white kernels becomes very important. So that,with ten maize inbred lines with white kernels and 45 hybrid combinations which were hybridized combined according to Griffing Ⅳ,we studied their main traits, such as yield heterosis and combining ability effect between yield and economic characters and yield SCA effect value and the correlation of comparison advantage.The results are as follows:1.Performance of inbred lines traits:among the ten new inbred lines,the yield per plant of C2011-111 and (305xD2)305BC1F8 were higher relative others,as well as their economic characters integrated performance;The traits in the areas such as ear diameter, ear rows, kernels per row, 100-kernel weight,Zibai waxy-11111 performed better,however,R1162 performed better in the areas such as ear diameter, ear rows, kernels per row, N12-F8 were the shortest in the plant height and ear height.2.Combining ability effect analysis:among the ten new inbred lines,(305xD2)305BC1F8 performed very outstanding,the yield per plant, ear diameter, ear rows of GCA effects are positive maximum, and other major economic characters of GCA are positive effect.It shows that (305×D2)305BC1F8can be a good parent for breeding high yield; At the same time, yield GCA effects of inbred lines L32 are higher, and the maximum relative effect of ear length GCA value is positive. SCA effect value of Per plant yield,ear diameter, kernels per row,100-kernel weightand, kernel rate of C2050-211×N12-F8 were positive, SCA values of barren ear tip length is negative effect, and the SCA relative effect value of per plant yield and 100-kernel weight is maximum; The SCA relativistic effect of per plant yield, ear length, ear diameter, ear rows, kernels per row of L32× (305×D2)305BC1F8 is postive significant,but the SCA relative effect value of barren ear tip length is negative significant, among which SCA relative effect value of ear diameter and ear rows is maximum.3.Yield heterosis analysis:among the selected 45 hybrid combinations,the combination of the advantages in the top five of shuangliu are L32x(305xD2)305BC1F8,Zibai waxy-11111×N12-F8,(305×D2)305BC1F8×R1162,C2011-111×(305×D2)305BC1F8 C2050-211×(305×D 2)305BC1F8,their control advantages are 18.13%、10.77%,2.12%、2.01%'1.43%;well these of yaan are L32×(305×D2)305BC1F8、L32×R1162、L32×Zibai waxy-11111,1004-12121×(305×D2)305BC1F8、 Zibai waxy-11111×(305×D2)305BC1F8, their control advantages are 27.49%、17.01%、14.12%、 11.23%、8.77%.Comprehensive two ecological point of the whole,the average yield per plant control advantages of 5 Hybrids(L32×(305×D2)305BC1F8、1004-12121×(305×D2)305BC1F8 C2050-211×(305×D2)305BC1F8、Zibai waxy-11111×N12-F8、L32×Zibai waxy-1111 are positive,the values are 22.81%、5.65%、2.40%、1.11%、0.53%.Among these,L32x(305xD2)305BC1F8 went first in the area of control advantage of shuangliu and yaan.The average value was 22.81%.It shows that it’s a strong contrast advantage of per plant yield.and can be identified further to participate in high level test.4.Correlation and path analysis,the correlation coefficient between yield per plant and agronomic and economic traits descending order is ear diameter (0.713**)> plant height (0.708)> ear height (0.532**)> ear rows (0.531**)> kernels per row (0.478**)> 100-kernel weight (0.439**)> kernel rate (0.374*)> ear length (0.327*). Ear diameter and kernels per row on per plant yield direct path coefficient is larger, the path coefficient is 0.442 and 0.445, respectively.That shows the two straits played roles to improve the yield of corn with white kernel and it is an effective way to improve the yield that we give more attention to improving the ear diameter and line number of kernels per row when various characters were chose.To sum up,among the ten selected maize inbred lines with white kernels,I think (305xD2)305BC1F8 performed best,this inbred line not only performed well in its economic traits,the GCA effect of the yield, ear diameter, ear rows are positive maximum,and also,the main economic characters SCA effect value of the combination L32×(305xD2)305BC1F8 whose one of parents is (305xD2)305BC1F8is positive effect, and the comparison advantage production is stronger.Indicates that the inbred can be used as an excellent yield breeding with parents, which filter out high-yielding hybrid combinations of potential, should be fully utilized.Furthermore,inbred line L32 had a yield higher values of GCA effects, and the effects of its ear length GCA relative value of the forward maximum, in white corn breeding practices, the application should be strengthened.
